Meet Denise, the first female Dragline Development Supervisor at our Saraji mine in Queensland. "I reflect on my mining journey and I am proud of my accomplishments. There were many challenges and obstacles, but with leaps and bounds, I have overcome them. Everyone has been so supportive of me, particularly my Superintendent, Glen Fox," she said. Denise has been in the mining industry for almost 17 years. She credits moving from the Sunshine Coast to Mackay as the reason she can also enjoy work-life balance in this role. 📸 Denise and Glen #queensland #womeninmining #mining

Women in “not in the traditional women role” are always great as they bring in a totally new perspective, totally new way of looking at a project and wow shows the way forward to a lot of people, both men and women. Well done.
