"It was the opportunity to help start-up companies grow. I realized I wanted to move out of research work, and providing operational support to start-ups was a great transition. It is exciting to hear the ideas of our entrepreneurs and how they are looking to change the world. Giving them that extra hand to make it work is rewarding.” 🚀 If You Could Have Any Superpower for a Day, What Would It Be and Why? "Time travel. It would be a very packed day being a fly on the wall in NYC! I’d love to see turn-of-the-century Coney Island, hear jazz musicians like Fletcher Henderson, Louis Armstrong, and Duke Ellington in the 1920s/30s, hang out at the Algonquin Hotel in the 1920s, watch Salvador Dali go through the window at Bonwit Teller in 1939, see Buddy Holly perform at the Brooklyn Paramount in 1957, and witness David Bowie perform at Radio City in 1973. I’d cram in as much as possible!" 🎭 What Do You Do in Your Spare Time? "I go to a lot of themed and costumed events like the Mermaid Parade and the Easter Bonnet Parade. I enjoy vintage events such as history and fashion talks, seeing old movies, attending repeal prohibition anniversary parties, jazz music nights, and cocktail parties. I love Coney Island in the summer with its beach, amusement parks, history, and sideshow. My husband and I also love going to flea markets and antique stores as we collect weird and old things. Additionally, we love cooking and barbecuing, so we often host several parties in the summer.” ☕ What's Your Favorite Place at BioLabs? "The Cafe.
