I’m particularly proud of our work on Waterloo Road, Northumberland, which was our first complete bespoke project in 2022. Being involved from inception to completion was incredibly fulfilling. It was rewarding to see our solutions installed and operational within just 45 minutes, bypassing traditional, time-consuming methods like excavation and backfilling. 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀? When I'm not at work, I enjoy walking my dog, Bob, and staying active at the gym. 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿? Early in my career, I was advised always to remember before presentations that I knew the most about our products in the room. Coming from a background in internal sales and recruitment, this advice was pivotal in boosting my confidence when presenting to engineers and industry professionals. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆? If I could switch roles with anyone at the company, it would be Tony Neville, our Highways Production Manager. It would be fascinating to experience firsthand the challenges I create for him!

As a sales leader, THIS is what you want to see from your team! Sales is a roller coaster. Even for rocks stars like Anthony. He does all the right stuff to avoid the cold streaks: ☕ feeds the pipeline ☕ varies his lead pool ☕ stays consistent and disciplined in his outreach ☕ asks for feedback and works on his processes But not every month will set records. The lulls will come. It's how you respond to them that separates the good from the great. I love to see this attitude from someone on my team, and know next month will be a different story. The team loved having you on Whitney Johnson Cowell! I started the idea of bringing an "Internal Guest Speaker" on at the beginning of the year to kick off our Monday meetings with the objectives: To spice up our Monday meetings: Increase Product knowledge and learn how each department operates Increase confidence in working internally across departments/offices Most importantly, the ability to internally network. I always think about increasing production by increasing efficiency. One of the best ways to increase efficiency is getting your team internally networked and engaged with the rest of the company. The guests we have had on include; Sales reps that have found success, the President of KCH, the head of our Air import/export team, and a colleague in our solutions departments. One of the things that I love most about KCH Transportation has been brought to light within this idea -> The willingness and the support of colleagues from different departments/offices wanting to collaborate. #creative #efficiency #leadership #management
