Rapid Response Services for Laid Off Workers If you or someone you know has recently been laid off or experienced a plant closure, there is a no-cost program designed to help get you back to work as quickly as possible. Rapid Response teams work with your employer to bring services and resources directly to you at your worksite, minimizing the disruptions associated with job loss. These services are customized to your needs and the needs of your employer, and are carried out by state and local workforce development agencies in partnership with the America’s Job Center of California network. Rapid Response teams will gather information about your current skills, career interests, and other needs, and begin to organize the services necessary to help you return to work. Some of these services include career counseling and job search assistance, resume preparation and interviewing skills workshops, local labor market facts and figures, unemployment insurance, financial planning and stress management workshops, information about education and training opportunities, financial support for training, income support if your job was lost due to foreign trade, and special services for veterans and adults with disabilities. By taking advantage of Rapid Response services, you can receive important information and services that can enhance re-employment opportunities. The sooner this process starts, the more quickly you can return to work. Contact your local America’s Job Center of California to learn more about Rapid Response services and how they can benefit you. American Job Center Finder: https://lnkd.in/gQB685Ki

Unless job seeker and employee control job creation resources and opportunities, unless she controls the process of recruitment and work relation, even unless potential employee generation controls education development , skills building starting from the beginning, unless, the society control education content, leadership and delivery, job creation, employment resources and decisions, no one rendering decision work and the rights of employment. This is what every employer, employee, job seekers know in their life and true. No matter the employers’ have kind heart, the issue of employment, job creation and decision work is the matter of controlling resources and decision about resources, power and decision.

It's Day 3 of 'Job Development Week' and we're looking at the enormous cost businesses face when they are understaffed. According to a recent survey by CFIB, staff shortages aren't just costing businesses $38 billion each year, 53% said they – and 38% said their staff – worked more due to personnel shortages. This is contributing to burn-out and turnover. Employers who are willing to consider job placement can ease their own burden and support their staff. We'll be discussing data and discussion points such as these at the upcoming workshop: 'Developing a Comprehensive Approach to Job Development' on either Jan. 24th or 25th. This will be a foundational online training session, providing career professionals with tools, resources and strategies on how to excel in employer engagement and placement. Register by Dec. 22nd for a 25% discount. Click here to purchase your ticket: https://lnkd.in/gjbPrRTe www.JobDevelopment.ca
