NEW BLOG POST! Handoffs are more than a specific moment, but instead are the sum of the nonverbal cues that lead up to and support that handoff after it's completed. At Tria Prima we call this a #CollaborativeHandoff, and we invest in it both in how we support our partners' #platformimplementations but also in how we help people architect their own #processes. https://lnkd.in/gEBTs-ZV

Building a business takes time and attention to detail. It's even more challenging when you are a mom on a mission - raising children as you grow your business. I have always adopted a "learn as you grow" mentality and that's my goal by sharing this with you. Here is a short clip I've created as I work towards putting together a "demo reel" to share with the world. https://lnkd.in/dQxUNpex

Strategic Advisor to government, law enforcement and NGO's tackling child sexual exploitation and abuse
Today's parents and carers face a unique challenge. The first generation of children growing up digitally native and how best to keep them safe online, and to protect themselves from potential harm while learning about and enjoying all that the digitally connected world has to offer. Too often in the workplace we only train our staff on what we believe will bring the organisation direct value. It's all about the ROI. What ROI do you think you'll get from having staff who know how to keep the most vulnerable people in their lives safer, and know that their own organisation took the time to equip them to do it? Before each season, people often have questions about what it means to volunteer as a GOTR coach. To start, you do not have to be a runner, quit your job, or have a kid on the team. Compassion and commitment are all you need to make a difference! Using our refreshed curriculum, Hello, Mountain Mover!, you’ll help girls become more confident, build healthy habits, and positively impact their community! Share your unique skills this season as a leader to girls in your community. https://lnkd.in/ddmHUQN Alt Text: Two columns of text are arranged on a light gray background. The one on the left reads, “GOTR Coach likes to run, a teacher, likes to volunteer, wants to grow confidence in girls.” The column on the right reads, “Also a GOTR Coach, not a runner, a parent, works full-time, wants to empower girls.” Illustrated sticker-style graphics decorate the white background, including a mountain range, a paper airplane, a heart, a lightning bolt, and an exclamation point. The bright pink Girls on the Run wordmark is centered at the bottom of the graphic. #GirlsOnTheRun #GOTR #Coach #GirlEmpowerment #GOTRCoach #Volunteer #CommunityImpact #VolunteerOpportunities

VP of Major and Transformational Gifts, United Way of Central Indiana - Transforming the lives of recipients, donors, and fundraisers by creating opportunities for all three to live up to their full potential.
This week on Querical: how a fundraising team is very much like a middle school swim team. Did I really just compare us to middle schoolers? Yes, I did, and in the best possible way... For the uninitiated, individual performances and “wins” might be the defining feature of a swim meet. But this hides a bigger truth about how teams can actually WIN a meet. The head coach of our inimitable middle school swim brigade, my friend Joe Schroeder (accounting professor and chair of the Kelley School of Business Graduate Accounting Program) is a numbers guy, as you might expect. He is really into how you shape the team’s entries into meets to get the most points and win the meet as a team. When seeing a swim TEAM through such a lens, all of a sudden, ALL performances become important. How does this relate to being part of a fundraising team? Read more on this week's Querical:
