This Women's History Month, PCDN.Global honors the remarkable women who have paved the way for equality, justice, and innovation across all sectors. 💪 Their resilience and determination have: ✨ Shattered ceilings ✨ Opened doors ✨ Forged new pathways for generations to come In the realm of impact careers, women have been at the forefront of driving social change, advocating for community development, and leading initiatives that create a more equitable world. 🌍 Their contributions remind us that leadership and impact come in many forms, and there's always room at the table for voices that champion change. However, we must move beyond mere lip service and take concrete actions to support and amplify women's voices in our workplaces and communities, ensuring their leadership and contributions are recognized and valued. We must ask ourselves critical questions: 1. How can we protect women's access to reproductive rights and healthcare? 🩺 2. How can we quantify and celebrate women's contributions both within and outside of their professional lives? 🎉 3. How can we ensure women are present and heard in negotiations, be it in public policy, labor policy, or rights advocacy? 🗣️ 4. What steps can we take to prevent the alarming global trend of femicides? 🚨 By addressing these issues head-on and working together to implement meaningful solutions, we can create a world where women's voices are not only heard but also celebrated and uplifted. Let us use this Women's History Month as a catalyst for change, empowering women to lead, innovate, and shape a more just and equitable future for all. 🌈 #WomensHistoryMonth #ImpactCareers #Empowerment #InclusiveLeadership

Women in science/business/politics are emerging, FINALLY. I am 100% ready for women to take over every realm of humanity. We've tried dominance by old white males. Let's try a new tack, shall we? 👉 Feminism does NOT mean women over men it means equality. 👉 Equality means respect of rights. 👉 Rights MUST be universally applicable (the right of a fetus to live inside another human or a fertilized egg to persist in the freezer DOES NOT TRACK!) 👉 Laws removing reproductive rights are immoral). ✴ Let's push love and inclusion.

International Women’s Day means much more than celebrating women for one day of the year. ❗ The 8th of March is an important day in the calendar to give focus to women’s rights issues, such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women — because women continue to face barriers and challenges in society. To achieve an inclusive and equitable society, those identifying as women must be empowered every day of the year. Last Friday, we saw some great initiatives from #BCorps ensuring their #InternationalWomensDay activities go beyond the 8th of March. ➡ Pulse Brands hosted a roundtable to untangle narratives around womanhood, gender and work. The discussion offered a cross-generational and welcoming space to share experiences of the workplace and cover topics including societal expectations, motherhood, work/life pressures, advancing in the workplace and how to support the workforce of tomorrow. ➡ The Women's Chapter® B Corp Certified founder Michelle Pughe-Parry de Klerk wrote a piece in Country & Town House amplifying female-founded sustainable brands we should know about in 2024. ➡ The Tartan Blanket Co. Ltd hosted an in-store event at their women-founded and women-led Edinburgh studio, with 2% of purchase sales going to charity The Global Fund for Women, which is on a mission to tackle inequality around the world. ➡ For the second year, Finisterre has launched the Women’s Filmmaker competition to celebrate the bravery and fortitude shown by women of the sea — inviting women filmmakers to submit their film pitch that champions women making waves and commandeering a space in the sea. ➡ ELEMIS co-founders Noella Gabriel and Oriele Frank and Pip & Nut | B Corp founder, Pip Murray shared some great advice for women at all stages of their business journey. ➡ Bird & Blend Tea Co. shared a brilliant video introducing all of the women behind the brand and the policies the business has in place to support women in business. ➡ Women-founded and women-led Sail Creative - BCorp 💫 spent the day raising awareness of the impact of the menopause. ➡ The Women's Domain is hosting a webinar tomorrow to discuss how female-owned businesses are still underrepresented in e-commerce and to find ways to enact positive change. Links to the activities are in the comments below. 👇 What is your business doing to ensure women are empowered every day of the year? 💡

🌸 Today is Women's Health Day 🌸 -Today is not the day I'll advocate reforms for gender equality -Today is not the day I'll bring to light women's right to education , free reproductive choices or a life free of discrimination, violence, poverty- the list is long and every day is a good day to underline those issues . -Today however is a PERFECT day to promote the importance of funding Femtech innovations, research, prevention , diagnostics for women of all walks of life and geographies. Tag an organisation you support that is actively working to elevate Femtech/ Femhealth to the next level . Here are my few favorites : Angels Santé, Femtech France, Luna,Louise 🐣,Fizimed, FemHealth Ventures,Zambon and their femtech accelerator, Tech4Eva - The global Femtech accelerator, FemTech Lab, FemHealth Insights What's yours ?

Happy International Women's Day from all of us at Sponge! 💙 Today, the Sponge team are proud to celebrate the steps being taken across the globe toward empowering women in the workplace. However, International Women's Day isn't just a date on the calendar; it's a powerful reminder of the ongoing journey towards gender equality and inclusivity in every aspect of our lives. Here's what we've been up to in the past year to make Sponge a better place for women: 🙏 We've revamped our maternity policy to ensure that mothers have the support they need during this pivotal time in their lives. From receiving more cover for longer to offering NCT memberships and antenatal classes paid for by Sponge, we're dedicated to empowering working mothers every step of the way. 🌺 Recognising the unique challenges faced by women experiencing menopause, we've implemented specialised training programs. By fostering a culture of understanding and support, we're breaking down barriers and creating a more inclusive workplace for women of all ages. 🚀 69% of all promotions at Sponge in the past year were awarded to women. From leadership roles to key decision-making positions, we're actively nurturing female talent and amplifying their voices within our organisation. While it's crucial to celebrate this day, at Sponge, we believe that true progress comes from continuous action. That's why we're committed to making every day an opportunity to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
