// Because we care We believe that psychological safety is the foundation of a safe workplace. This philosophy drives our daily commitment to safety through various initiatives designed to ensure top-tier safety and minimize the risk of injuries. We have safety representatives, safety groups, systematic reporting of safety risks, and continuous follow-ups on all efforts. We prioritize psychological safety right from an employee's first day on the job. New colleagues are quickly introduced to the entire team and management, fostering a supportive team environment from day one. This team spirit is further strengthened through our work culture and ongoing initiatives. We are convinced that when our employees experience psychological safety at work, they are more likely to voice concerns and contribute ideas. Therefore, psychological safety is just as significant a focus for us as physical safety. #hv #jointheDELPROteam #becausewecare

Embracing the concept of Stop Work Authority is not just a safety measure; it's a commitment to prioritizing the well-being of every individual in the workplace. This fundamental principle empowers every employee to intervene if they witness any situation that poses a potential risk to health or safety. Organizations can proactively prevent accidents and incidents by encouraging a culture where speaking up is valued and actively promoted. Stop Work Authority serves as a crucial tool in fostering a safety-first mindset, ensuring that everyone has the right and responsibility to halt any operation that could jeopardize lives or property. It's not about hindering progress; it's about safeguarding our most valuable asset—our people. Let's champion a workplace culture where safety is paramount, and where every voice matters in keeping each other safe. #SafetyFirst #StopWorkAuthority #WorkplaceSafety

Happy #SafetyMemoMonday! This week, our project teams are focusing on combating complacency, a key issue in workplace safety. Experienced workers often become too familiar with tasks and may overlook hazards, leading to risky shortcuts. To avoid this, it's crucial to stay vigilant and resist the temptation to take the easy route. Self-audit or ask a coworker for constructive feedback on your work. This can help identify areas where you may be cutting corners. Once you recognize the risks, make it a habit to follow safety protocols consistently. Repeating safe actions until they become automatic will help you avoid complacency and maintain a safer work environment. #SafetyCulture

🚧 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀? 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀! 🚧 Did you know that the overwhelming majority of workplace injuries are not caused by a lack of knowledge about company policies or safety regulations? It's true! Workers often find themselves getting hurt because they make poor choices - whether it's due to time pressures, peer pressure, complacency, or personal distractions. So, how can we combat the risk of making poor safety choices and ensure a safer working environment for everyone? Here are a few game-changing strategies to consider: 1️⃣ Foster a culture of safety: Create an environment where safety is not just a priority, but a core value. Encourage open communication, provide regular training sessions, and recognize and reward employees for their commitment to safety. 2️⃣ Empower employees with knowledge: Ensure that all workers are well-educated on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices. Provide comprehensive training programs and resources to equip them with the necessary skills to make informed decisions. 3️⃣ Address external factors: Acknowledge that workers might have personal challenges outside of work that can affect their focus and decision-making. Offer support systems, such as employee assistance programs or counseling services, to help them navigate these challenges and maintain a healthy work-life balance. 4️⃣ Lead by example: Management plays a crucial role in shaping safety behaviors. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by consistently following protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and actively participating in safety initiatives. 5️⃣ Encourage reporting and feedback: Establish a non-punitive reporting system where employees can openly share near-misses or safety concerns without fear of repercussions. Actively listen to their feedback and take prompt action to address any identified risks. Remember, preventing workplace injuries is not just about having the right policies and procedures in place. It's about empowering workers to make the right choices and creating a safety-conscious culture that values their well-being. Together, let's build a safer, more productive future! 💪🏼 #WorkplaceSafety #SafetyCulture #PreventionIsBetterThanCure #SafeAndProductive #OSHAInstructor #BehaviorBasedSafety
