At Ampasindava, more than 10 years of data has been collected by drilling and excavating shafts by hand and sampled along the depth, with ~US$30m historic exploration & evaluation expenditure. A total of 4,474 test pits have been completed up to a maximum depth of 10m. The quality and quantity of previous work is extensive, allowing a strong platform for mine design and development work to proceed. Exploration and test-work include the completion of 20,085m of diamond drilling in 277 holes and 5 progressive stages of metallurgical testwork. Additionally, both a NI 43-101 Report and JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate have been published for the Resource. A relatively simple, environmentally responsible two stage heap leach process has resulted in highly acceptable mineral product yields

We've received high-grade graphite results from our drilling program at the Kookaburra Graphite Project in South Australia. The drilling has extended high-grade graphite mineralisation to the north, with significant intercepts found at shallow depths. Notable results include 𝟮𝟰𝗺 @ 𝟭𝟲.𝟴% 𝗧𝗚𝗖 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝗺 and 𝟯𝗺 @ 𝟯𝟬.𝟱% 𝗧𝗚𝗖 from 80m. This extension of mineralisation, confirmed through step-out drilling, expands the known mineral resource and is expected to enhance project economics. The correlation between graphite mineralisation and electromagnetic anomalies suggests further exploration potential. The mineralisation strike has increased by approximately 50m to 630m. An updated Mineral Resource for Kookaburra Gully is due in April 2024. Further drilling is planned to define resources, explore new areas, and conduct geotechnical and metallurgical tests, with a focus on the northern portion of the Kookaburra Gully mineralisation. CEO Jonathon Trewartha said, "These exceptionally high-grade graphite results from drilling at Kookaburra Gully confirm our confidence that we will continue to rapidly develop what is already the second largest graphite resource on Eyre Peninsula. What makes these results particularly exciting is that the drilling results are expected to add to our high-grade core of 2.0 Mt at 15.2% TGC that starts at surface. The exceptionally high-grade mineralisation at surface positions us well to be in the lower quartile of the cost-curve once the Pre-Feasibility Study is updated in Q4 of this calendar year.” Read the full ASX Announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gb27CSUr #ASX #ASXNews #MiningNews #LML #LincolnMinerals #graphite #SouthAustralia

Parabellum Resources Limited (ASX: PBL) (‘Parabellum’, or ‘the Company’), is pleased to announce that it has now completed a program of preliminary metallurgical testwork to determine metallurgical recovery characteristics of the #nickel and #cobalt mineralisation at the Redlands nickel laterite project in NSW from an atmospheric, low temperature, sulphuric acid leach flow sheet. Initial results indicate that nickel recoveries of over 90% were achieved from some of the samples. The Redlands/Whitbarrow, Recovery and Lunns Dam Projects in the Tottenham-Girilambone district comprises four granted exploration licenses covering approximately 690km²; and the Obley Project in the Yeoval district comprises one granted exploration license covering approx. 180km². Parabellum Executive Director, Peter Secker commented: ”The Miandetta-Redlands prospect area was identified by the Company as having significant potential for hosting oxide near surface nickel-cobalt mineralisation in August 2023. The Phase 2 drilling program completed in February 2024 has confirmed the potential of both the Miandetta and Redlands prospects to host significant, near surface nickel-cobalt mineralisation. The results obtained from the recent metallurgical testwork program are considered very encouraging. With initial nickel recoveries of >90% achieved through the atmospheric acid leach flow sheet, this provides a very positive strategy for the next stages of project development and economic evaluation.” Download the announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gxybWnZY Contact: Peter Ruse

International Graphite (ASX:IG6) is advancing at pace at the second-largest #graphite deposit in Australia, with very high-grade graphite drilling results generated from the Springdale Graphite Project’s Mason Bay deposit. The ten-hole diamond drilling program was focused on geotechnical drilling to inform mine planning and permitting, as well as providing metallurgical data for concentrator plant process design. The most spectacular result graded at 11 metres at 14.3% total graphitic carbon (TGC) from just 10.4 metres of depth, with two very high-grade components of 1-metre at 21.3% TGC and 3.1 metres at 26.5% TGC. “The more we drill at Springdale the more graphite we find,” International Graphite CEO and managing director Andrew Worland said. Equinox Resources Limited (ASX: EQN) is pleased to provide preliminary metallurgical test work conducted on 20 scout drill holes at the “Rio Negro” at the “Campo Grande” Rare Earth Project, a 100% owned and staked project located in Bahia, Brazil. Spanning approximately 1,800 km², the Rio Negro prospect makes up only 1% of the project claim area, highlighting the significant scale and potential of this venture. Equinox Resources Managing Director, Zac Komur, commented: “Our recent AMSUL test results confirms the presence of rare earth ionic adsorption clays at our Campo Grande project, with TREO recoveries reaching up to 80%. Impressively, recoveries for high-value magnet elements like Neodymium, Praseodymium, and Dysprosium hit 88%, and Terbium achieved an exceptional 91%. Looking back on our journey in Brazil, it's noteworthy that our Campo Grande and Mata da Corda projects were not acquisitions burdened with payments and royalties. Instead, we did our homework, followed the geology, and pegged the ground ourselves. We’re continuing to follow the geology and drilling across high-priority areas at both projects, ensuring we maximise the potential we’ve discovered. There's much more to come. Equinox Resources remains fully committed to developing all of our projects—from the Hamersley Iron Ore Project in the Pilbara to our antimony opportunity in Canada, and our rare earth projects in Brazil. Equinox Resources is emerging as a new force in the resources industry, with a diverse portfolio and a relentless pursuit of the basic in operational excellence. By focusing on the fundamentals and aligning our efforts with global trends, we're building resilience and positioning ourselves for sustainable success in a complex market landscape.” Read the full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gB7s_S4X

Tempest Minerals Ltd Ltd (ASX:TEM) has intercepted high-grade #magnetite in early drilling at the Remorse #copperzinc soil anomaly target of its #YalgooProject in Western Australia. Assay results from the first of the recently drilled reverse circulation drill holes at Remorse show intercepts of high-grade #iron such as a 32-metre down-hole intersection of magnetite-hosted iron, grading up to 39.34% iron. The company says the promising iron grades intersected represent a significant opportunity for further iron-focused exploration in addition to #basemetals and #preciousmetals. Multiple untested zones exhibiting such magnetite mineralisation apparently exist, each being 7 kilometres in strike length. Tempest expects to receive further results in the coming weeks. Forrestania Resources Ltd (ASX:FRS) has struck high-grade #iron ore mineralisation in the first reverse circulation (RC) drilling program targeting the metal at the Koolyanobbing Iron Project in Western Australia. The company drilled nine holes over 687 metres, looking for extensions to Mineral Resources Limited (ASX:MIN)’s Koolyanobbing mine, which held mineral reserves of 40.8 million tonnes at 58.2% iron as of 2019. The drilling program generated a highly promising intercept of 2 metres at 44.6% iron from 101 metres of depth, which demonstrated banded iron formation-style (BIF) mineralisation, as well as hematite (iron ore above 70%) and geothite, a kind of iron oxide.
