As 2025 draws near, the climatetech market is poised to reach $1.5 trillion, unlocking a world of opportunities and impact for those daring enough to innovate. FedTech and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center are partnering to run the Massachusetts #Climatetech Studio – the premier platform for turning bold ideas into climatetech solutions. This is an unparalleled opportunity to spearhead sustainable innovation by exploring the commercial applications of groundbreaking climate technologies as part of an entreprenurial team. Participants receve a $15,000 stipend, guidance from world-class entrepreneurs and climate tech experts, and the opportunity to receive $100,000 in prize funding at the end of the program. 💥And just like that, another edition of Latitude59 has come to a close! 🇪🇪 Estonia's premier startup event did not disappoint, delivering an electrifying atmosphere, invaluable networking opportunities, and a front-row seat to the region's dynamic entrepreneurial spirit.⚡ At #PowerUP, we were thrilled to showcase our cutting-edge #HydrogenFuelCellGenerator technology 🔋 and be a part of the conversations shaping the future of energy. The event proved to be an invaluable platform for our team. Ivar and Varun had productive talks with potential investors, policymakers and possible customers, exploring exciting opportunities to scale our innovative solutions further. Tarmo made the most of the event to initiate meaningful conversations from a PR and media standpoint, raising awareness about our brand and exploring potential synergies for future collaborations. 📢 The overwhelming turnout of 3,500 attendees is a testament to the event's success and the growing interest in Estonia's startup ecosystem. In the mind of a jury member – Johanna Mossberg The application time frame is open for the #Startup4Climate innovation competition until August 25. Our eminent jury ultimately selects the winners. One of the jury members is Johanna Mossberg, head of department at the Energy Agency and adjunct at Luleå University of Technology in the subject of Energy technology. So what is she really looking for? What do you look for in promising entrepreneurs? Visions in the form of a will to make a difference, creativity in the form of being able to solve many different types of problems without losing courage and social excellence and the ability to build formal and informal teams and "support environments". It is not always the best idea in terms of investment that succeeds, but the one around which you manage to enthuse and mobilize resources. Do you have any tips for this year's competing entrepreneurs? Demonstrate multiple benefits, such as various solutions for energy efficiency that are, for example, good for both cost, climate and security of supply, not to forget the system perspective and issues around resource efficiency. Solutions with several different benefits are more flexible to deal with changes in the market and thus more "future-proof".
