Richard’s father didn’t have the opportunity to go to school, so he worked tirelessly to give his children the education he never had. Thanks to his father's dedication, Richard became a teacher. Now his own children have dreams of continuing their studies. One wants to become an automotive technician. Another, a priest. One might want to be a driver, or maybe a mechanic. No matter what they choose, Richard will support them. And now that their community has reliable access to clean water, there’s nothing standing in their way. Being a father can feel like carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, but thanks to the clean water made possible by supporters like you, these dads have one less thing to worry about. #HappyFathersDay

Speaking with student drivers is always an eye opening experience, and so when we asked Megan, a recent high school student who completed a course with us, why she sought us out - it was interesting to see her response . “Passing The Test” is often the main focus of new drivers - but the time immediately after passing the test is statistically the most risky for serious road trauma or death. Which is why it’s great to see new drivers with an understanding of how important it is to know safer driving techniques as well as pass their test. We offer something different than simply the mechanics of driving, we specialise in low risk driver training to help set every student up for success. #roadsafety #defensivedriving #learnerdriver

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO UP-SKILL YOUR DRIVERS EITHER HEAVY OR LIGHT TRUCK 🚚, LOOK NO FURTHER THAN YOUR TRUE PNG OWNED COMPANY "DDDA" #DIMOND_DEFENSIVE_DRIVING_ACADEMY Frank Lapi. You're not only training drivers but you are also saving lives and reducing traffic accidents. #Lets_Do_This!! #Road_Safety_is_Everyones_Business
Training is all about showing people how to do something. For someone to train others, he/she must be a subject matter expert. I've seen people claiming themselves to be trainers but lacks practical skills. There are people coming into this country to make huge bucks by just talking in the classrooms and becoming safety corps watching poor students struggling in getting things right on the roads especially when it comes to truck driver training. This has to stop! It must. Companies has to source trainers with the technical know how to fully train our drivers. Training is skills and knowledge transfer. why bringing in people who are not qualified or experienced. Oh yeah, people who can not even drive trucks who are used for training. Trainers must do commentary drive for the students to fully grasp the safe driving concepts they deliver in the classrooms. I choose private yards to do demos before taking students onto the public roads. The initial driving has to be by me all time doing commentary drive. Information transfer mostly happens during commentary drive. #safedriving #training #trucks

Host of The Heavy Duty Parts Report & CEO of the Heavy Duty Consulting Corporation where we help heavy-duty parts companies solve problems with our proprietary 5 step process.
What was your experience with cars or trucks growing up? A new wave of diesel technicians are entering the field. However, there's a gap that needs addressing. In the past, many first learned hands on from a parent. Being under a hood was a big part of their childhood. Today though, as modern vehicles get more and more complicated, it’s much rarer to see a dad pop the hood of their own car. You can’t teach what you don’t know. “The technology is growing exponentially,” says Martin Redilla, Education Manager of HDA Truck Pride. Thankfully, formal education is stepping up to fill this gap. It's equipping the next generation with the skills they need. Who taught you about working on vehicles? Follow The Heavy Duty Parts Report brought to you by FinditParts, so you never miss out on great conversations that empower heavy-duty people. 🎧 #DieselTechnician #Training #HeavyDutyParts #BeHeavyDuty #HeavyDutyPartsReport

Even if you aren't a Pro Driver, chances are you spend time behind the wheel. ProDrivers is celebrating #NationalSafetyMonth by partnering with clients to bolster their safety trainings. This weeks topic: Distracted Driving! Sending or reading a text takes your eyes off the road for 4.6 seconds. At 55 mph, that’s like driving the length of an entire football field without even looking at the roadway. Driver inattention is a leading factor in crashes and near-crashes. Nearly 80% of crashes involved some form of driver inattention in the 3 seconds before the crash or near-crash. Making sure that our drivers keep themselves and those around them safe on the road is the most important part of what we do everyday. DM me to talk about how additional training can keep your CDL and non-CDL drivers safe on the roads. #EBSafetyTogether #NSM
