The countdown has started! ⏱️ After the success of our first Insurance Futures Academy with London Insurance Life in July, we’re taking things a step further to help more students learn about specialty insurance and find apprenticeships in the market. Next Wednesday we launch our new Apprenticeship Discovery. Over three days we’re bringing specialty insurance to life, helping students understand how to apply for apprenticeships and bringing employers and students together to connect and find opportunities. I chose an apprenticeship in Accountancy with COVENTRY AND WARWICKSHIRE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE TRAINING LIMITED after completing my A-Levels when most of my friends were going off to University. Apprenticeship routes to employment are valuable to both rhe apprentice and the employer. Employers have to take the blinkers off and look to the wider applicant pool and skills base in their teams. It’s a challenge doing the juggling but an apprentice become a valued employee with in the job skills that can’t be gained via academic study alone.
