In the #organic industry, Matthew Dillon likes to say that “success is in succession.” When we invest in organic farmers, we’re not investing in a crop cycle. We’re investing in the long-term success of the farmer, in the longevity of the farm. This allows us as a company to meet both our current and future sourcing needs. And it allows our farmers to more effectively plan for the future. In this way, organic farms can continue to grow alongside our business, creating the conditions for current and future farming generations to thrive. * #sustainableagriculture
For more than 20 years, a significant part of our investment in organic sourcing has been working with farmers to support and advocate for transformational organic farming practices. We are grateful to our long-time partners like the Jura Family who have joined us on our journey and helped champion the benefits of organic farming. Watch the video below to learn more about the Jura family’s inspiring story and how they are making a meaningful impact on people and the planet. Together, we’re creating a more sustainable future for generations to come. For more information on our commitment and investments to organic systems, visit https://lnkd.in/gDbxE8rN

📢#ExcitingNews 🤝Last week, the International Licensing Platform and the ACLP met in Amsterdam. 💡Both platforms aim at providing a tool for a facilitated access to patented traits - the ILP for vegetable crops and the ACLP for agricultural crops. Often associated together in the mind of companies and policy makers, these platforms share lots of similarities, but also a few differences, due to the fact that the ILP was created 10 years ago, in a different political context that we can experience today. 🤩It was a very valuable meeting for ACLP Board members to learn from the long experience of the ILP, with the hope to reach the same success in the coming years! #EnablingInnovation
