Hydroelectric dam penstocks often require preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation. However, manual inspections pose significant dangers and may not offer a comprehensive picture of the state of the system over time. To address this challenge, we developed a unique robotic system by integrating components from Trimble Applanix’s Indoor Mobile Mapping Solution (TIMMS) onto our Husky robot. The robot is also equipped with our OutdoorNav Autonomy Software making the system ideal for a full inspection workflow. Large photovoltaic power stations in deserts, water, farms, etc. are usually not convenient and cheap to clean. Long-term dust coverage affects the power generation rate and reduces profits. Using robot cleaning is one of the good solutions. It does not require manual supervision. The robot can clean at any time or at regularly according to your needs. Using a low-cost and convenient cleaning solution can solve your big problems.
Our G1 robot is cleaning a large power station. It can be set to clean automatically at a scheduled time without the need for human assistance.

This is a bio-inspired single-track ground mobile robot for surveillance and inspection in unstructured environments characterized by narrow spaces and specially designed for operating inside pipelines. It is an evolution of the SnakeTrack, a single-track robot with 90-degree steering capabilities. all the exterior parts of the robot are moving and it has some pines that enable it to move on very soft terrains like. Thanks to its small turning radius (254 mm), its maneuverability in narrow spaces is good. It can’t pivot around a vertical axis, but this is not a remarkable limitation, due to the full bi-directionality. The symmetry of Porcospino brings another useful functional feature: it can continue operating after a 180° capsize; moreover, if it falls on its flank (90° capsize), it can restore the correct position by combining lateral flexion, to lift on the track ends, and track motion.
