The simple path followed by many of us is working towards the next role, I worked with multiple teams and was always in the top 5%, It is true from my first to the most recent job. I am blessed with a #creative, thinker, challenge-seeking, and #risktaker #mindset. Product development whether it is an Emulator as a student, SONET Add Drop Multiplexer at my First Job, or conceptualizing & delivering a low-cost WLAN Access Point with a team of 'three' engineers, and so on ... one thing in common, is my never-give-up #attitude in learning, mentoring, building & developing state-of-the-art next-generation products in a resource-constraint environment. I worked for large and small companies, extremely #fast paced and slow work/life balance type cultures, something like, not turning on a laptop on weekends unless it's an absolute necessity and the rest of the weekdays turn 5 days to 8 days. How to do what you #don't like to do and #succeed at that is what I learned, its challenging! I have always been an advocate of #customercentric or Customer First service and developing Subject Matter Expertise, ownership. No mistake that cannot be fixed. So if it doesn’t work put me somewhere else or fire me. But I do NOT fail” - So, I became the founding member of Sales Expansion (now known as Global Workforce Consultants) - The team is now global with 200ppl+ - My team has never missed quota (despite ever growing goals from my partner in RevOps Austin Cook Kiessig 😉) - We now sell 10+ products - Amount I have learned cannot be measured - My leadership pushes me and empowers me regularly Chris Lee Shuo Wang - Ever grateful for my friend and mentor Greg Lazarus for helping me get here! Throughout my career, I’ve learned A LOT about hiring and building a product team. Early on, I thought I should be hiring people like me: a generalist who loves developing strategy and is skilled at User Research and Executive communication. But as we scaled our organization, I learned (painfully) that we needed the opposite. We needed technical product folks who could go deep on specific problems. We didn’t need everyone to be able to craft a strategy and present it to the CEO. That was my job. Once I understood what the organization needed, I built the best product org. of my career (shoutout to Jiajia Zhang, Eve Taylor Robinson, Jaime Bussell, Gustavo Vivanco, and Meghan Birch).
