In late 2022, KONGSBERG decided to invest in a dedicated facility at Technology Park, Mawson Lakes in #SouthAustralia. 🥳 This is the first Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace facility in the Asia-Pacific region and will support acquisition and sustainment programs through local manufacture, assembly, integration, test, verification and training. 🛡️ We remained committed to #sustainability throughout this process, designing the facility with efficiency front of mind, and with the aspiration to attain a Platinum #LEED-certification building, the first in Australia. ♻️ Our facility has been constructed with benefits for both the environment and our employees through energy efficiency, water conservation, improved indoor air quality and long-term resilience, just to name a few. 🌏 Thank you to our partners Adelaide-based Tandem Building Group, SECTION SIX ARCHITECTS, and NDY and the 30 other South Australian companies that have been engaged throughout the project. 🤝🏼 Completion of this facility is a hugely significant milestone for #KONGSBERG in Australia and we are delighted to have finally moved in! 🇳🇴🇦🇺 John Fry Ben Urquhart Frankie Films
