In 2010, I joined full time at Redefine and today after fifteen years we are over 100 plus strong team. One of the core responsibilities as a founder is to build team apart from business development. I've been at the forefront of hiring, and there's few trait that consistently stands out: one of this is candidates background in sports, particularly team sports, the other, I will share in my next post. Now, a background in sports isn't just a hunch; it's a strategic decision backed by compelling reasons: 1. Champions at Heart: Sportspersons are wired to win. They bring this competitive spirit to the workplace, constantly striving for excellence and pushing boundaries. 2. Resilience in Defeat: Sports teach valuable lessons in handling setbacks. These candidates don't crumble under pressure; they learn, adapt, and come back stronger. 3. Team Players Par Excellence: The most crucial lesson from sports? Being a stellar team player. These individuals understand the power of collaboration, communication, and collective success. By prioritizing candidates with sports backgrounds, we're not just hiring employees; we're building a team of champions ready to take on any challenge. Their athletic mindset translates into professional prowess, creating a dynamic, resilient, and cohesive workforce. Remember: In the game of business, those who play together, win together! #teamwork #redefiningexcellence #hiring #sports

Why is no one looking at the 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 as a 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁? Building a highly effective hiring process requires a few things: • High ability to predict future job performance • Candidate experience • Hiring Manager experience • Measurability, and scalability When adapting to a product mindset, you are forced to: • 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮: In product management it's imperative to understand how your product is performing. • 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Building great products that users enjoy, requires focus on the user experience. • 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Building a product means constantly pushing innovation, iterating on the product in close collaboration with the end-users. All of the above are absolutely critical when building a highly successful hiring process. I'm joining Sofie af Ekenstam, Karin Holmquist and Erik Stawreberg this Thursday May 16th at 16:30, to speak about my perspective on Hiring Processes as a Product, and how to be truly data-driven at Greensteps opening event in Gothenburg. Would love to see you there - invitation is in the comments 🚀

Exciting news - I’m pleased to introduce our launch of Multiverse's brand new Hiring Framework. 🎉 When I joined 18 months ago, one of the many things that was attractive about the opportunity to lead talent at Multiverse was that there was already a united hiring philosophy. I also knew that it would need to evolve as the business evolved and I would be a part of that journey. And here we are... I hired the brilliant Phap Lam who has lead the inner workings as our Head of Talent Ops! Our new hiring framework: The Three Cs! They mean we can simplify and reinforce what we look for in our candidates... at scale: Capability Coachability Character See below for more details on the Three Cs or read more on our blog https://lnkd.in/ddbBdDgA #MyMultiverse #talentacquisition #scale #hiring

Hiring 10/10s ⭐️ When Lucelle Beer sent me this article on Steve Schwarzman's philosophy on hiring for Blackstone, it struck a chord. Over my career, I've hired hundreds of new team members yet all the most successful candidates have shared the same traits: They have can-do attitudes and make things happen. They're excited to build something from scratch. They are forever exploring new ways of working. They all possess a "start-up mentality". They want to get their hands dirty. They're passionate about learning. They don't follow the playbook. They push boundaries. They love to innovate. They're driven. When it comes to our venues, we strive to innovate, bring a fresh perspective, and throw the playbook out of the window, so why should our approach to hiring be any different? You can teach the finer details or the technical aspects of any role, but you can’t teach passion, hunger, or a desire to learn. These are the key factors I always look for when I’m hiring people and what keeps our business filled with teams that not only care but treat it as though it were their own. #hiring #team #mentality

Product Management | Product Marketing | Go-to-market | Cross-functional leadership | Data-driven | CleanTech Focused | Software Defined Hardware Expert - Let's not forget some creativity!
As many of you know by now, just a few weeks ago—only 4 months after I joined—Moxion Power closed its doors. This wasn’t my first layoff in a startup struggling with financial issues as it tries to scale and grow its customer base, but this one cut especially deep. A topic often overlooked in these situations is the social violence inflicted on employees. 😔 Beyond the economic implications, what hit the hardest is the abrupt end to the collaboration, the vision, and the passion we had collectively built. You spend countless hours building trust, aligning diverse teams, and driving towards a shared goal and great mission, ready to change the world. But when a company abruptly closes or decide to lay-off a big chunk of its workforce, especially without warnings, the bonds and shared passion that fueled the work are suddenly and painfully severed. 💔 The vision we crafted together is no longer, and the product we poured our hearts into is lost—gone, without the time to properly reflect, without the time to grieve, without proper goodbyes! We can, of course, stay in touch with our now friends-coworkers, but it will never be the same. We did try to make things better, but there wasn't enough time! This experience has reinforced for me the importance of resilience and adaptability in our industry. It’s a reminder that while products may come and go, the skills we develop in #CrossFunctionalCollaboration, the ability to unite teams around a common purpose, and the drive to see a vision through to fruition are what truly endure. Without us— Talents —there are no products! As I look to the future, I carry forward the lessons learned from all of those professional adventures—the importance of building strong, trust-based relationships and the power of a unified team to create something remarkable. I have made true friends, met mentors, and learned so much so fast. While the end of Moxion was a significant chapter in my career, it’s also a stepping stone towards new opportunities to apply these skills in engineering, product and marketing and continue to drive innovation on how to bring successful products to market. 🚀 With that said, I am open to work and actively seeking my next opportunity in product leadership to contribute and grow in a dynamic environment. #ProductMarketing #ProductManagement #Leadership #GoToMarket #Resilience #CareerGrowth #ClimateTech #Product #StartupLife #Teamwork
