#Spottedinstore This novel Happy coffee packaging structure caught my attention, but didn't do much to convey reasons to buy or anything close to the flavor, richness, smoothness, etc. I am seeking in a coffee. Shelf Breakthrough is important for new products, but ultimately accomplishes nothing if the product doesn't generate category-specific understanding and appeal. A little google search tells me this product is the brain-child of Robert Downy Jr. and another investor in Method and Eos successes. Category matters and follows different sets of rules. Here's why: 1. 😣 It's an abstract word so your brain struggles to attach it to something meaningful. Think of a pizza pie.  Now, think of the 'best pizza pie'. Was there a difference?  But if you get more specific, you can paint a much more memorable picture for the mind. Best Pizza In Town? or Cheesiest Pizza In Town? 2. 🤔 It's hard to believe, coming from you. You say your pizza is the best.  Of course, so does the pizza store 2 blocks away. SO much more believable, however, if OTHER people say it. You've got something good if your Tripadvisor reviews say things like: 'this is truly the best pizza in town!'  and  'after tasting the pizza here, and also the pizza at '2 Blocks Away Pizza' - this pizza is definitely the best!' 3. 👍 👎  'Best' is a comparison word. Only use it if it's clear what the choices are, and if you're a credible person to be making that choice.  Like price comparison sites. They can (often) be trusted to have objective data on different products and pricing, and when you use them, it's clear what you're comparing.
