CT Skills’ Post

Here's a heartwarming reminder of the lasting impact of apprenticeships! 🎉 Chris Dobroczynski, Mike Holden, Andy Lacey, Kev Perrett, and Pete Prowse first crossed paths in 1974 at Redwood Burn on Yeoman Way, Trowbridge. Little did they know they were not only starting their careers but also forging a lifelong bond. The five retirees have remained close friends for over 50 years, a testament to the enduring relationships built during apprenticeships. Recently, they gathered to celebrate this milestone and recreated a photograph from 1977, the year they earned their basic City & Guilds certificates. Mike Holden reflected on the invaluable skills and friendships developed during their apprenticeships. "Our hairlines and waistlines might have changed, but our camaraderie hasn't," he shared. Mike still taps into the skills he acquired during his apprenticeship, editing a quarterly magazine for West Wilts u3a. Apprenticeships do more than equip you with professional skills; they also forge connections that last a lifetime. At CT Skills, we're committed to building futures and fostering friendships. With a 65% apprenticeship achievement rate, significantly higher than the national average, our programmes are designed to set you on a successful path.
