What comes up? This is a very common question when people are asking about the types of things people bring to a coaching session. My first answer is “whatever the client wants to bring up,” but a more detailed list includes: ✔ Business planning ✔ Strategic goals ✔ Professional and/or personal challenges and road blocks ✔ Business culture ✔ Managing stakeholders (especially when there are lots of them!) ✔ Resource planning ✔ Career progression ✔ Team leadership ✔ Vision clarification “what does GREAT look like?” ✔ Where are we going? How do we get there? How do we overcome what is in the way? For my small business clients, they don’t have an Executive Team to workshop the big things with, so coaching is a great resource. For others, its helpful to work on their goals and progress their thinking away from their day-to-day, with someone from outside their organisation.
