Hornchurch High School: Enrichment And Skills’ Development in Abundance on Kloodle   Hornchurch High School is keen to gather evidence relating to #participation in #enrichment activities. As well as this, they also capture data which measures the distance travelled for their learners, individually and universally, in regard to their #character development and #educational journey. Learners who want to earn more recognition then add their own #reflections and create a ‘journal of experiences’, which is a timeline of their own story. The school also wants to use the data to hone the enrichment programme by pruning activities which add least value and replacing with ones which they believe will. The Convenience Of Having All The Data In One Place   By uploading the information to Kloodle, the school is provided with all the necessary data on progression over time. Also, all the enrichment data is in one place and there is no need for different systems and spreadsheets for the numerous activities. Total Satisfaction of #Ofsted   Ofsted’s inspection framework now includes a section for assessment called “Personal Development”. It means that schools need to provide evidence of #extracurricular activities, character and #personaldevelopment, and #careers guidance. We are excited that all of our schools placed in the top 20% in the state, and many are in the top 3%. 🦅 Nixa Junior High is the #5 middle school in the state of Missouri and was the second highest in the Springfield metro behind Central High School's magnet program. Two Loudoun elementary schools were recently named in the top three best elementary schools in Virginia according to a Niche ranking. Ashburn’s Waxpool Elementary School ranked first among the 1,124 elementary schools included in the list and Aldie’s Goshen Post Elementary School ranked third, based on its academics, teachers, culture and diversity, and surveys from students and parents. Twelve other #Loudoun elementary schools ranked in the top 100. The Niche rankings differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that it also includes input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.
