Last week I met up with my old work mates Jonas Cohn and Johan Höjvall over a long overdue lunch and we discussed the significance of a great company culture, and how it's such an important factor in a company's success. We all saw what an impact a great company culture could have back in the days when we were part of the rapid growth of Mynewsdesk across the Nordics and internationally. Businesses that have a strong founder-led culture, often prove to be the most successful. Where the founders are the best brand advocates themselves, actively inspiring and guiding their teams on a day to day basis. Founder-led culture is so crucial because it sets the tone, values, and vision that will guide your team. When the founders are actively involved, they can ensure the culture aligns with the company's mission and goals. This helps attract the right talent, foster collaboration, set yourself apart from competitors, and maintain high morale even as the organisation grows. Founders who are hands-on with culture-building send a powerful message - that they are invested in creating an environment where people can thrive. This inspires loyalty, commitment, and a shared sense of purpose among employees. Of course, culture doesn't happen by accident.
