🚀 Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Kaizen event focused on Class D part lifecycle management at our Parker Lord Erie, PA plant. Kaizen, the Japanese term for "change for the better," truly encapsulated the spirit of our collaborative efforts. 🔍 Our diverse team dove deep into the processes surrounding Class D parts, analyzing every step for efficiency gains and waste reduction. It was inspiring to see cross-departmental team members bring their unique perspectives and expertise to the table, especially with an Aerospace perspective. 💡 The highlight for me was witnessing the power of collective problem-solving in action. We identified several key areas for improvement that could lead to significant cost savings and streamline our supply chain operations. 🤝 I'm grateful for the chance to work alongside colleagues who are just as passionate about continuous improvement as I am. Last week, I completed the Plant Manufacturing Director Program (PMDP). It was a great opportunity to share experiences with colleagues from different facilities across The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Thanks to the Americas team HR for facilitating this training in locations such as Akron, Ohio, and Americana, Brazil. To summarize the training in one simple sentence: "Change the focus, change the performance”
