Every year on February 20th, the globe unites to observe the World Day of Social Justice, advocating for equality and inclusivity. This year's theme, "Bridging Gaps, Building Alliances," emphasizes the pivotal role of collaboration in addressing global issues. It urges the promotion of social inclusion, cohesion, and the fight against discrimination. Let's use this day as a catalyst to work towards a fairer and more just world for everyone. The Indian Constitution ensures social justice through provisions for equality and freedom. On World Day of Social Justice, the government raises awareness about issues like poverty and discrimination. NGOs empower marginalized communities, collaborating with agencies and grassroots organizations for equality. They advocate for vulnerable groups and address societal inequalities, striving for an inclusive society. Guided by the Constitution's principles, NGOs complement government efforts, bridging divides and fostering compassion for a more just society. 1NGO Trust stands as a central repository for 1200+ NGOs across India. Visit https://lnkd.in/dycx3Hvx to explore organizations dedicated to various causes. If you're inclined to support their causes, we encourage you to consider making a donation. #SocialJusticeDay #IndianConstitution #EqualityForAll #NGOImpact #InclusiveIndia #Empowerment #EqualityMatters #JusticeForAll #SocialChange #CommunityDevelopment #1ngowebsites #ngodirectory #Worldsocialjusticeday #feb20 #diversity #humanrights #equity #community #justice #identity #action #awareness #socialimpact #voting #discrimination #economical #political #socialrights #opportunities #caste #religion #race

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategies are becoming increasingly important for organisations rightly seeking to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all people, particularly groups who have historically been underrepresented. At SQW, we have delivered a wide array of #research and #evaluation studies exploring issues relating to #EDI for regulatory bodies, central government departments, charities, local authorities, and others. The focus of some of our recent reports includes tackling #inequalities in the health and care sector, and pathways to improve #diversity in venture capital investment. You can find insights and findings from these and other projects here: https://lnkd.in/epnVBaUV #NationalInclusionWeekCampaign2024 #NIW2024 #NationalInclusionWeek #impactmatters #inclusion #serviceproviders #councils #healthcare #housing #education #equality #diversity #inclusion

Experienced program specialist, in program designs, planning and grassroots resources mobilisation. Children, adolescents, youths and disabilities programs . Seeking to be part of a healthy work environment.
Now that much of the rhetoric about #IWD2024 have fizzled away. We at #RELI Resuscitating Life Initiative, will like to remind you to genuinely support a woman or girl around you achieve their dreams without a barter mindset. More and more women continue to be endangered, exposed to various forms of exploitation, abuse, including sexual exploitation and abuse. You can do something to change that for the women in the world beginning with the women around you. If a woman genuinely qualified for a placement, help her fast track it without unhealthy preconditions. Elevating women through unhealthy preconditions does no good to their humanity and in real sense continue to undervalue the potentials of capable women and strengthens unhealthy stereotypes against women. It strengthens the narratives against women and tightens the space for other women who continue to tirelessly commit to self improvement, social and economic transformation. It undermines sustainability of women inclusion. Eg. Sex for marks objectifies women, underscores the excellence of other hard working women and does no good to the sustainable approach of inclusion to create way for other women. If a woman is shortchanged around you, fight for her rights! Let your action be the support that awakens her to her worth and true value! If a woman is abused around you, speak up on her behalf! Teach her to speak up! If a girl child around you is endangered, provide support and closure, else she'd grow up with a bruised esteem and unhealthy mother's prolong the cycle of women who never live to maximize half of their potentials for community good. The women you empower today are the wings on which our society will thrive. This #IWD2024 REsuscitating Life Initiative - RELI is calling for proactive steps, little steps that count, not just large rhetoric which never get implemented. Take practical steps towards empowering a woman/girl today! Do not shut the women up! Invite women unto lofty heights, stages and opportunities! Treat women with dignity! Respect a woman's choices! Empower a woman, give her a voice! Encourage women! Fight for and uphold women's rights as human rights! #SafeguardingWomen #InspireInclusion #Safeguarding #Womenandgirls #womensrights #UN
