Last week, we had the opportunity to attend the 'Unlocking Construction' job fair at HMP Lewes. We were fortunate to bring along a gulley truck and provide a demonstration in the recreation yard. This was a first of its kind experience at HMP Lewes sparking conversations within the prison about opportunities for offenders on release. Hiring ex-offenders is not only a social responsibility but also a strategic business decision with numerous benefits. It promotes fairness and equality, provides opportunities for individuals to rebuild their lives, and helps break the cycle of crime, contributing to a more stable society.
