Forging a 🅶🆁🅴🅴🅽🅴🆁 Future #Australia released it's 2024 National #Hydrogen Strategy which projects that their abundant #renewable #energy, land availability, natural gas reserves, mineral reserves, proximity to Asian markets will position them as a global leader in hydrogen production and export. Central to the updated strategy are production incentives announced as part of the Government’s $22.7 billion Future Made in Australia plan. Export credit agencies of the U.K., Export Finance (UKEF) and Poland’s KUKE, have jointly guaranteed a loan worth 249 million euros ($272 million) for Turkish renewable energy investment company Kalyon Enerji, enabling the construction of Türkiye's second-largest solar project to date, UKEF said on Thursday. Aira has successfully raised €145 million in a Series B financing round, led by investors such as Altor Equity Partners, Kinnevik, and Temasek. This morning, the REA publishes its report on Freeport East’s Green Transport Hub Strategy. Based around the ports of Felixstowe and Harwich, Freeport East is a major transport hub and could play a leading role in transport decarbonisation. The report argues a well-co-ordinated Green Transport Hub Strategy will bring opportunities for innovation, decarbonisation as well as jobs and benefits to the whole of the UK.
