As we wrap up our Global Career Month here at The Coca-Cola Company, I wanted to share a couple of pieces of advice that have helped me to invest in myself and my career over the years: ➡️ Regularly assess your skill set to make sure you’re staying relevant for the world around you. We all need to continuously upskill, and in this increasingly digital world, the skills we have today may not necessarily get where we want to be tomorrow. Throughout Career Month, I was particularly inspired by session about how we can use Chat GPT Personas for career and development delivered by my colleague Frik Brits. It’s clear that those of us who learn how to embrace Generative AI and use it to our advantage, will be the ones who will thrive in the long run! So brush off your development plan, and consider where you can nurture your strengths, or plug some of the gaps. ➡️ Make time to be inspired! There are many sources of inspiration around us, when we take the time to look. For me, I take most inspiration from my colleagues and my wider network. Just this week, I spent time at an HR Conference in Berlin, sharing knowledge and learning from others. And I also loved the career stories we created for our leaders across #CocaColaEurope this month, to showcase the many varied ways we can gain experiences throughout our career. Make sure to carve out time for networking events, conferences, internal events that offer moments of connection, or spending time in the market with colleagues – you will be surprised just how much you will learn! ➡️ Step out of your comfort zone! It’s true that fortune favors the brave. Throughout my career, I’ve taken leaps of fate by moving countries, roles, functions and industries. It is a sure way to accelerate your career and will offer you transferable skills and business insights that you could never have imagined. Thank you to all my colleagues across Europe who spend time investing in their career throughout May, and to the great People & Culture teams in Coca-Cola who help us all to build future-ready careers! #CocaCola #FutureReadyCareers #Careers #Development

During my time at the Coca-Cola Zamboanga plant, I had the privilege to explore various departments, each playing a crucial role in the company's operations. My journey began at the Safety department, where I learned the paramount importance of maintaining a safe working environment. The comprehensive safety protocols and the culture of prioritizing employee well-being left a lasting impression on me. It became clear that Coca-Cola values its employees as its most important asset. Next, at the Wastewater Treatment Facility, I observed the company's dedication to environmental sustainability. The advanced techniques employed to treat wastewater before releasing it back into the environment demonstrated Coca-Cola’s responsibility towards minimizing its ecological footprint. This experience highlighted the significance of sustainable practices in the industrial sector. In the Quality Assurance department, I was introduced to the rigorous testing and verification processes that ensure every product that leaves the plant is of the highest quality. The attention to detail and the continuous improvement mindset were inspiring, emphasizing the company’s relentless pursuit of excellence. Finally, at the Water Treatment Facility, I witnessed the meticulous process of ensuring that the water used in our beverages meets the highest standards of purity. This experience underscored the importance of quality control and the commitment Coca-Cola has towards delivering safe and refreshing products. My journey at Coca-Cola has been more than just an internship; it has been a transformative experience that has broadened my horizons and deepened my understanding of what it takes to be a part of a world-class organization. I have seen firsthand the dedication, passion, and integrity that drive Coca-Cola's success. This experience has taught me that true excellence is achieved through a combination of innovation, sustainability, quality, and safety. It has also shown me the power of a cohesive team working towards a common goal. As I move forward in my career, I will carry these lessons with me, striving to apply them in all my endeavors. To my mentors and colleagues at Coca-Cola, thank you for the invaluable insights and the warm welcome. Your guidance has been instrumental in shaping my professional journey. To my fellow interns and future employees, embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. Remember that every task, no matter how small, contributes to the bigger picture. Be curious, be diligent, and always strive for excellence. Coca-Cola has not only quenched my thirst for knowledge but has also instilled in me a profound appreciation for the values that make a company truly great. Here’s to a future where we continue to innovate, inspire, and impact the world positively. #LifeAtCoke #ThirstForMore #CocaColaSIP

🌟 Reflecting on my 7-month journey as an intern at Nestle! 🚀 🤝 Teamwork: The importance of teamwork cannot be overstated when working on such a large-scale project. Harness the strengths of your teammates to create the best possible outcome. 💡 User-Centric Innovation: One pivotal lesson I embraced at Nestle is the significance of starting with the users. My software project was not just about lines of code; it was about addressing the pain points of our users. By prioritizing user needs, we can ensure our solution resonated with them, securing their buy-in and loyalty. User-centricity is critical for effective innovation! 🆘 Embracing Collaboration: Another vital takeaway from my Nestle experience is the power of asking for help. In a dynamic environment, seeking assistance is not a sign of weakness but a catalyst for growth. I learnt that collaboration fuels progress and fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 🙏 Heartfelt thanks to Nestle for the invaluable opportunity and to my amazing colleagues for their support and guidance. Special Thanks to JUI-LIN HUNG for your product leadership and brainstorming sessions. and Camila Galindo for believing in me even as a Freshman and the flexibility provided for me to juggle school and work. #nestle #UserCentricInnovation #Collaboration #nus
