One year of my master’s is coming to an end now. With this, imagine diving into a project with Birra Moretti, a top Heineken brand, and facing a challenge that pushes your marketing skills to new heights. Sounds exciting, right? This was our reality in the final course module at Cranfield University. Why was this project a game-changer? 1. Marketing Consultancy Project: This project involved developing a comprehensive marketing plan for Birra Moretti's off-trade market. The MCP was designed to integrate all the marketing theories and frameworks we’ve learned, applying them to a real business challenge. It was an intense, one-week competition where each team acted as a consulting firm, aiming to provide the best strategic recommendations to increase Birra Moretti’s market share while maintaining its premium brand positioning. 2. Team Synergy: Working with my incredible learning team gave me real-world insights that no textbook could provide. We tackled challenges, brainstormed late at night, and pushed our creative limits. 3. The Result?: Did we clinch the top spot? No. But the knowledge and experience we gained? Priceless. It's not always about the win; sometimes, it's about the journey and the lessons learned along the way. A huge thank you to Professors Stan Maklan and Vasilios Theoharakis for organising this project and making it an integral part of our course module. Your guidance and support were invaluable. Special thanks to Alessandro D'Amico and Jesal Shah from Birra Moretti for being on the panel and providing us with invaluable feedback. Your guidance and support were invaluable. Here’s to the sleepless nights, the endless cups of coffee, and the amazing team that made it all worthwhile. 🍻 Disha Jain, Kimberly, Tisha Gada, Marmik Patel and Nandini Gupta With that, I’m excited to bring these insights into the real world and make a mark in the marketing industry. Happy to explore #internship opportunities in marketing to hone my skills further and contribute to exciting projects. Cheers to growth, learning, and the exciting road ahead! 🚀 The HEINEKEN Company #CranfieldUniversity #MarketingJourney #BirraMoretti #Teamwork #StrategicMarketing #LearningExperience #InternshipOpportunity

It is that time of the year when most students go through a phase of transition in their life. For those of you stepping into the corporate world for the first time, be assured that it is going to be an equally exciting journey as it was in your college and school. For those who are stepping back into the world of business after a break, a lot will change, for better and it will all be worth it. To be honest, I was a bit nervous starting my corporate journey as a fresher, right after B-school. But to my fortune, my career started with an organisation like DIAGEO India a place that felt no different than a family. I had mentors who would go out of their way to help me, made me feel comfortable and inclusive. My journey as a Management Trainee began in July last year. In the last 10 months, I have had the privilege of staying in over 4 different cities and working with 4 different functions. What more can I ask for! In my first stint, I was tagged to the supply team, followed by a project with the customer marketing team. I made the best use of my MBA when I got the opportunity to work with the HR team. Working with each team has truly been an enriching experience. Diageo’s commitment to inclusive & innovative culture provided me with enormous opportunities to learn and grow. Finally, I was given a chance to do a factory stint as my final project. This practically got me the closest to understanding the business. Once again, a big shout out to the entire team at the unit and corporate office for trusting me with one of the most crucial projects which is extremely rare for a fresh graduate to get. Factory is where I truly understood Diageo, one big family, celebrating life everyday, everywhere. This is where life came a full circle and I understood how an organization’s values can truly resonate with your personal values. Lastly, as someone who had no idea about the corporate world to have worked in diverse functions in the last 10 months, I would like to say that for all those starting out their corporate career, be comfortable in ‘not knowing’ since that’s the best way to unlearn and learn. I’ll also take this opportunity to thank all my guides and mentors at Diageo for helping me navigate and belong. #Inclusiveness #Diversity #Inspiration #Leadership #Sustainability #DiageoIndia #CelebratingYou #PeopleOfDiageo #LifeAtDiageo

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 My road to step into corporate began at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) where I pursued BBA with a major in Marketing. I left with more than just a degree: unparalleled memories and experiences that would shape my career. 🌟 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 & 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 While at IBA, I joined AIESEC, where I led a team of 25 incredible individuals and together, we propelled our entity into top global rankings. The experience was more than just leadership; it was about making a global impact. The lessons I learnt here were invaluable, setting the stage for the opportunities ahead. My path then led me to the corporate world through internships at Reckitt, Shell & Nestlé & here are my key highlights: • 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁: Analysed 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗹’𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 in 3 different markets to identify opportunities • 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹: Presented 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁-𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, after researching and analysing their Retail Value Proposition (RVP) • 𝗡𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲: Utilized 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 techniques to present our research in an interactive way. 🌍 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱: I finally was able to land as a 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲 at Mondelēz International. Immersed in the world of sales and marketing, I faced new challenges and found opportunities to add value in innovative ways. This story would be for a separate post altogether – 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗱!😉 Now, as I reflect on this journey, I realize that every step was crucial in shaping who I am today. Now I am eager to 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 their own paths. 𝗗𝗠 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘁 & 𝗹𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁!

How time flies… Already 1 year at AB InBev🎉 The past year was for sure one, which was pivotal in my life. Starting my frist “real” job and this with an industry leader changed my life quite a lot. In the last 12 months, I not only completed my Trainee Program, but also moved 3 times, and got the chance to take over responsibilities, I never thought I would have so early in my career. Now, as Returnable Packaging Analyst being able to shape our return bottle operations and drive change to ensure our production runs smoothly, is something I never expected. Taking resume after 1 year, I wanted to share my 3 key learnings with you: ✨Keep calm: No matter what obstacles life throws at you, take a step back, evaluate and then decide. Don’t panic when things go wrong! ✨Take actions: Especially early in your career, I believe it is key to be proactive and not wait for someone to come around to tell you what to do. Drive what you think is important and find creative solutions. ✨Be humble: Don’t think that you need to show off what you did and how great you are. No one likes a show off. Do you work good and people will realize. Opportunities will come your way, you just need to be ready to catch them. I am so grateful to everyone, who supported me on this way and to all my fellow trainees at AB InBev! #dreamBig #futurewithmorecheers #career #firstjob #ABinBev

Looking back, I can't help but smile at the child within me who dreamt of this very moment. Here's to embracing every learning curve, turning childhood dreams into professional milestones, and never pausing the quest for growth. 🚀💼 Something special is brewing ☕️! As the new season of management trainee programs kicks off, I want to extend my congratulations to the fresh joiners at Mondelez, L'Oréal, and Philip Morris that I saw on LinkedIn. It brings back memories of my own journey at Reckitt two years ago, filled with so much excitement. Reflecting on my experience, there are a few lessons I wish I had known as a new joiner. I hope you all will not repeat the mistake. 1.Be Proactive: Take ownership of your role. Don’t wait for your manager to outline your tasks. Instead, take the initiative to seek guidance and regularly update them on your progress. Show your eagerness to learn and take charge of your development. 2. Don’t Underrestimate yourself. As management trainees, you hold the potential to make significant contributions, regardless of your age. I was negotiating trading terms, doing check out counters penetarion through the outlet level and listing of the SKUs that wasn't in the distributon list. There is no such thing that management trainee that is so fresh, new and young will not be able to achieve great thing. 3.Stay Humble Success will come with its share of challenges. Resilience is key to overcoming setbacks, and a humble attitude will encourage others to support you along the way. Wishing all the new management trainees and fresh graduates the best of luck as you embark on this exciting journey!
