Following over two years of construction, our 101MW Yellow Wind Farm located in Rhode County Offaly generated electricity for the first time. ⚡ It's been a huge team effort to get this point in the project, thanks to Suir Engineering, Farrans Construction, Nordex Group, EirGrid Group and Port of Galway. 👏 Testing of all 29 Nordex Group N117/3600 wind turbines will now take place over the coming months ahead of reaching full power and entering commercial operations which is expected early 2025. 📆 Read more about how Yellow River Wind Farm will help contribute to Ireland’s 2030 renewable energy targets via the link below. 👇 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eUdDTX6D
