What? Charge less for the same exceptional care?! Yes, indeed. Because it's the right thing to do. Intermountain Health has moved all Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology clinics in Utah away from a hospital designation to a clinic designation. This allows us to: -Lower costs for patients -Compliantly provide virtual care -SERVE OUR COMMUNITY! Really this is a no-brainer and I challenge all hospital-based practices to make the same move. Sounds simple? It. Was. Not. Simple. This involved significant clinical, legal, compliance, finance, IT, HR, operational, contracting, credentialing, enrollment, analytics, marketing, revenue cycle, and strategic considerations. That's ok. Let's do hard things to make healthcare more affordable! I am so proud of the team that made this happen! As a kid I played a lot of sport, and was injured fairly regularly. I knew I wanted to do something that meant helping people live their best lives, and physio seemed like the perfect fit. How do you know which Intensive Outpatient Program is right for you? The Behavioral Wellness Group has 7 total programs: Six (6) are virtual group programs, and one (1) is an in-person group program. We have five (5) programs for adults aged 18 and older, one (1) program for adolescents aged 13-17, and one (1) program for college students aged 18 and older. How do I know if I need an Intensive Outpatient Program? IOP is often recommended for individuals who do not require medical supervision and can live at home. IOP is designed to accommodate work/family schedules and begin a long-term recovery.
