“Better Together – Connecting for Good” is a community which brings together people who want to make a positive impact on the world, their societies and the environment. We want to connect, share learnings and experiences, and thus empower and inspire each other in our work towards the good. Our world and societies today face multiple challenges. These are not easy times. When we open the newspaper or the internet we are bombarded with horrific news and stories about war, despair, human suffering, injustice, inequality and environmental destruction - only to name a few. We believe in the power of human connection and communities. We all want positive change, but if we join in together, pool our resources, exchange our ideas, knowledge and experiences, our power is amplified and our impact multiplied. Join us and many like-minded people from Germany and around the world. Let’s strive towards the good as a strong and diverse community, because we are “Better Together”. “Better Together – Connecting for Good” is an initiative of three like-minded media projects: “meet THE GOOD ONES”, “Good News for You” and “Feel Good - Happy People.Happy Planet” which all want to amplify and showcase people, projects and organisations in their work towards the good. Join us at the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Annual Conference for a can't-miss session, and say hello to the Hunden Partners team at Booth 410! Take advantage of this opportunity to hear directly from Rob(in) Hunden, CEO of Hunden Partners. His presentation will provide insights on Placemaking Action Plans: How Economic Developers are Coming Together to Lead the Creation of Great Places. Session Description: Historically, elected officials have led city and county placemaking efforts. DMOs and EDOs have marketed the existing place and product but have not often influenced what the place and product are. Today, it’s different. DMOs and EDOs should be at the forefront of leading placemaking and destination development efforts for optimal visitation and quality of life. ▪ Hear how, through placemaking asset mapping assessments, place-vision, and execution, you can determine the opportunities and how to develop them. ▪ Learn the steps in the placemaking process, from assessment to strategy to tactics to execution, and understand how your colleagues across the country are reinventing their places. #HundenPartners #IEDC #Placemaking

Wow! How I missed these events! After three years of organizing and running these types of programs, I decided to join “Geração Coolectiva” by Coimbra Coolectiva and tackle issues identified in the city of Coimbra. Picture yourself at a table. Surrounded by unfamiliar faces, ready to work on a city problem that you didn't get to choose. But because it's from your city, it becomes "your" problem. The energy of sharing ideas is incredible. Witnessing over 100 people united by a common goal is truly uplifting. And the enthusiasm in preparing the presentation pitch is invigorating. Oh, how I missed giving a presentation. In the end, we all come out as winners. It's a project that highlights the power of the citizen's voice. It showcases the strength of human connections. Above all, it proves that together, we can co-create, lead to change, and make a difference. Joana Pires Araújo and the whole team: hats off!

💡Why is it important to talk about TEAL with the whole World? ✨Organizations are recognizing the importance of creating diverse, equitable, and #inclusiveworkplaces. This involves addressing biases, promoting #equalopportunities, and fostering a #cultureofbelonging. 💡One way we can create an #inclusiveculture is to understand where everyone is coming from. 🌍Teal Around The World is bridging the gap by giving a voice to everyone at the table. In the keynote session from TATW 2023, we hear from Susan Basterfield Spring Cheng Timm Urschinger Yiqing He and moderator Bianca Yin. They represent their culture, talking about different challenges and practices that differ from each country, and how best to approach it. 💖What are your experiences based on your culture? We want to hear your perspective and invite you to be part of the biggest Teal conference - Teal Around the World 2025! With the Hybrid concept, we have a chance to meet each other face to face and provide a platform where people can truly connect! 🌍With your help we will be able to start the Glocal Hubs - local conference hubs in different parts of the world where you can meet, join and connect with Thought Leaders, Storytellers, Coaches, Practitioners, Teal Enthusiasts, practicing Teal companies and people who want to know more and become more Teal. 🗣️Let's make this opportunity a reality! Congratulations to all the 2024 Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation winners. The beauty of this organization is in finding the wide spectrum of people who are contributing in their own beautiful ways to make this world a better place. In the current tumultuous times, it holds more significance than ever. Miyazaki Hayao has used animation to teach children about the importance of environment, sustainability, and peace. Through his storytelling, he nurtures a new generation that values the earth, fostering a mindset of circularity and responsibility. The Rural Doctors Movement has shown us the strength of community-led change. By bringing together local doctors and advocating for policy reforms, they’ve created a grassroots solution that bridges the gap between accessibility and quality in healthcare. Their work exemplifies the true spirit of Swaraj (sovereignty), empowering communities to take control of their health and futures. Farwiza Farhan have been unwavering champions of the Leuser Ecosystem in Sumatra, defending the sovereignty of nature and the rights of Adivasi communities. Their fight for the environment is a powerful reminder that protecting our natural world is inseparable from protecting the people who are most intimately connected to it. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong has devoted her life to the healing of war-torn communities, proving that it is never too late to seek justice and provide relief to those who have suffered. Her dedication speaks to the deep human need for reconciliation and the relentless pursuit of peace. Phuntsho, Karma, and the Loden Foundation embody the balance between honoring tradition and embracing innovation. By fostering entrepreneurship and economic development, they are creating a circular economy that respects the past while confidently stepping into the future. The spirit of Adivasi Swaraj, circularity, and a safer, more inclusive world lives on through the incredible efforts of these inspiring leaders. They remind us that, even in the face of great challenges, there is always room for hope, courage, and action. #RamonMagsaysayAward #Swaraj #AdivasiCommunities #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #HealthcareForAll #EnvironmentalJustice #PeaceAndReconciliation #HopeForTheFuture #RamonMagsaysayAward #66thRamonMagsaysayAwards #GreatnessOfSpirit #TransformativeLeadership
