These are the standout trends we believe will have strong commercial potential and are central to our design focus. The shows overall reflected a strong sense of optimism, with a noticeable shift towards formal dressing after streetwear and casual styles dominated for so long. This was particularly evident at street level. While Boho is the season’s buzzword, its influence on footwear is less clear compared to accessories and apparel. As for heels versus flats, the flat trend feels saturated, with little innovation, while heels are exciting again, aligning with the return to formal dressing. #fashionweek #ss25 #footweartrends

Now seems a good time to revisit “Sustainability” in the Footwear and Apparel industries. We’ve seen articles questioning brands’ commitments to it (see below), and recent visits to Industry Trade shows left us with the firm impression that brands haven't been requesting as many new sustainable innovations as in the past.
