Obesity Medicine Specialist | Primary Care Advocate | Promoter of Health Equity | Health Technology Enthusiast |
Clinical culture matters and can make all the difference in building a successful practice. I am amazed every day at how willing our clinicians and staff are to step up and advocate for their colleagues and patients. An excellent clinical culture doesn’t just happen however. It requires a practice mindset that appreciates and respects clinicians, dietitians, and care team members. At Form Health, we prioritize clinician: 1. Experience: Being a Form clincian means a focus on doing clincial, not admin work. All Form clinicians can use AI medical scribing tool #Nabla to dramatically reduce charting during and after visits. Patient Care Coordinators help address prior authorizations and messaging while Medical Assistants will pre-chart a patient’s visit note to make sure visits are about care delivery, not data entry. 2. Flexibility: Life doesn’t fit perfectly into a 9-5 workday and because of that we offer an incredible level of schedule flexibility to help our clinicians balance their work-life arrangements. 3. Autonomy: We trust our obesity experts to practice evidence-based care with an approach of offering accessible, high quality care to as many people as possible. The “Form way of obesity practice” is using national guidelines to personalize care to the individual. 4. Feedback: At Form we recognize that things can always be improved and are constantly seeking feedback AND implementing improvements. Our team members have significant influence on what we do and how we do it. Are you looking to practice obesity medicine in an amazing clinical culture? Please take a look on our website for employed and 1099 roles (https://lnkd.in/ga52NupN) or feel free to reach out to me directly. #obesity #obesityjobs #formhealth #npjobs #pajobs #physicianjobs #docjobs #culturematters #publichealth #prevention #aiscribe #clinicalexperience #burnout

Spoiler alert: $10k signing bonuses for select Laboratory roles at Island Health!! Something I learned since starting with Island Health is that there's a critical shortage of Medical Laboratory professionals across Canada. Beyond that, this shortage leads to cascading effects negatively impacting patients everywhere. This can lead to the more inconvenient effect of increased wait times, but also leads to more severe effects in terms of negative patient outcomes, and increased suffering due to unknown causes. When labs don't have the staff to stay open, they have to shut down services. Specimens from areas without coverage have to be transported to other areas, creating backlogs. Emergency rooms can shut down, mystery illnesses go undiagnosed, more populated areas go through longer wait times to deal with the added capacity, while rural or remote areas may not have the ability to help patients for days. All this to say.. to help address shortages here on the island, we're offering signing bonuses for new Medical Lab Technologists, and Combined Lab / Xray Technologists for permanent fulltime, and part time positions (over .6 FTE)! If you or someone you know could be interested in bringing their skills to the island, here's a list of our eligible positions! https://lnkd.in/gvZi9fmx

No longer can People working in Pathology go forward with the directions they are given from their employers that make no logical sense, put workers in unsafe environments and under unreasonable workloads, result in lower standards of care for our patients and a lower standard of service for the referring doctors. It’s time for the industry and workers to take back the sector and make it what it should be… we know what is right and ethical and need to unite our voices under The PCA so the toxicity of isolated workplaces no longer silence the caring workers in the Pathology Sector. Join the community changing the culture in Australian Pathology here; https://lnkd.in/gAzHB-eM

You need to be adaptable and relaxed to be a great locum. Being flexible and adapting to new environments is a crucial skill for locums. You need to be resourceful and able to tackle unfamiliar situations or problems at a moments notice. The more times you are exposed to these situations, the better you'll become. Fitting into a new business seamlessly is a skill that can help distinguish you as a locum. Additionally, keeping composed at a new locum job is important to ensure you can work at your best. You're going to not know where things are, or all of the store's procedures but that's ok! It can be overwhelming at the start of your first shift, but it only gets easier after the first hour. Be comfortable and relaxed knowing, you're not going to know everything at a new locum job. #LocumFind #pharmacy #optometry #locumjobs #hospital #locumpharmacist #healthcare #pharmajobs
