Luxury private travel used to be synonymous with a certain demographic. …That demographic (and the definition of luxury) is changing! On one hand, you’ve got strong brand identities like: ✈️ Qatar ✈️ British Airways, and ✈️ Etihad Here, luxury travel encapsulates enhanced business and first-class experiences, building upon the commodity of convenience and hospitality, raising the bar on what can be expected On the other, you have the emergence of semi-private airlines like Aero, who offer economical access to private planes, by renting them for specific journeys and pooling small numbers of customers together. Given what’s happening in the industry, more established brands that support private aviation, such as Signature Aviation (catering to those with private jets), are going to need to revisit their brand strategy sooner rather than later to find their place in a fast-changing industry.
