A whole Soldier approach- that’s H2F! Integral to that approach is the Spiritual Readiness component- the strength of self and soul that comes from knowing your life’s purpose, pursuing it with integrity and integrating that with the people around you. For people of faith, their religious virtues can drive SR. For people who are not religious, strong ethical reasoning can drive it. Either way, positive SR thrives on forgiving self and others, and on thankfulness.
Holistic Health and Fitness, #H2F, provides the US Army's most valuable weapon, the Soldier, with the same care that professional athletes receive. This increased access to care increases Soldier lethality and readiness and improves their quality of life. Check out SSG Richard Rometty's testimonial on how even though he is being chaptered out of the Army for an injury, the #H2F team embedded in the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade is rehabilitating other injuries, enabling him to transition as healthy as possible. #innovationinaction - The TRV-150 (Tactical Resupply Vehicle 150) technology is part of the Accelerating FORCE program, which CMI2 executes in partnership with U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory. The Accelerating FORCE program executes case studies to research how the Army can accelerate acquisition timelines and acquire technologies that can improve warfighter readiness and allow the Army to overmatch adversaries on the battlefield. A central pillar of the program is experimentation alongside Soldiers in realistic environments. In addition to the resupply efforts, the 101st Airborne Division completed during #CombinedResolve 24-01 at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center near Hohenfels, Germany, experimentation for the TRV-150 was also completed at CMI2's Adaptive Experimentation Facility during a Driving Innovation in Realistic (DIRT) Days event in April (https://lnkd.in/g_HQXvyH). #innovationinthedirt #acceleration #technology
More Army tech? You bet. This is the TRV-150 (Tactical Resupply Vehicle 150). The 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army used the TRV-150 (Tactical Resupply Vehicle 150) for resupply missions during #CombinedResolve 24-01 at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center near Hohenfels, Germany, Oct. 20, 2023. In Military clothing it is found that camouflage fabrics have existed for more than 75 years and have become very popular from 1990, after the operation Desert Storm in the Middle East by US Forces with NATO Alliances. Today most of the armed forces, including army, navy, air force and paramilitary forces, are using camouflage fabrics, as this fabric increased the safety factor for each and every soldier and the nature of the fabric improved the comfort level and the roughness. It is predicted that total worldwide requirement of camouflage fabrics is more than 350 million meters annually. Military camouflage can be in the form of fabrics which is used for uniforms, protection suits, ballistic protection, tents, tarpaulins, backpacks or nets to protect assets. The essential items that are found in a typical US soldier’s backpack include the following: Sleeping bags Sunscreen Fire kits Medicine (usually inside the first aid kit) Compass Small flashlight Night vision gear Signal mirror Shelter Food www.ktcanada.ca

#CubicItalia make the news! Alpine troops of the 8th regiment engaged in two weeks of exercises with an OPFOR on Exercise AQUILA 12/2023 at the CTC in Brunico. The exercise aim was to consolidate and improve the ability to operate in urban terrain in a warfighting scenario using modern simulation supplied to the Italian Army (by #CubicItalia). Soldiers and vehicles were geolocated throughout, with weapon instrumentation. All the data collected and analyzed allowed the Alpini to obtain lessons learned on the operational aspects to be strengthened, improved or corrected. Collection of data relating to CASEVAC within the units is particularly useful. https://lnkd.in/eBDiVQi2 #wearecubic

COBRA 1st Retrofit successfully completed Belfort, France 08 February, 2024 – A major milestone was achieved for the COBRA Programme, with the first five French COBRA systems receiving the new COBRA positioner upgrades at the 1st Artillery Regiment in Belfort, France. This was a well-coordinated and successful team effort from OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation), Participating States (DGA - Direction générale de l'armement, FR Army, Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik u. Nutzung der Bundeswehr BAAINBw) NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), Lockheed Martin, and ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH with these five COBRA systems now retrofitted and in serviceable condition. Being the first of these positioners retrofit campaigns, follow-up activities were agreed upon and lessons were identified, which will benefit the remaining 15 systems yet to be retrofitted in Germany and France until the end of 2025. A big thank you to Mr. Richard Martin, acting deputy G-3, U.S. Army Materiel Command, for his invaluable insights and comments during our last stakeholder meeting. Mr. Martin stressed the importance of considering what warfighters will face on the future battlefield, and how logistics and finance can help reduce risk. EBS-C's convergence of five systems offers exciting opportunities to enhance readiness factors with a focus on the warfighter. Our goal is to provide Soldiers with an improved user interface, enabling commanders to make rapid, informed decisions. https://lnkd.in/eUePm4nU #EBSC #ArmySupplyChainManagement #ModernizationEfforts #NationalDefensePriorities

Robotics and AI are not buzzwords…
Robots are joining military forces to help troops in the field. From moving out ahead of the soldiers for recon or clearing a path to medical evacuating wounded troops, robots are helping to save lives on the battlefield.

Not only do the extreme cold conditions bring unique requirements to the weapons systems but they also expose the gaps in the military’s ECWCS and CTAPS. While both of these systems are great for certain conditions, there are many improvements that need to be made to enhance the warfighters ability to sustain and survive in future conflicts in alpine and arctic environments.
"It is vital that military equipment work wherever in the world American Soldiers need it, and extreme cold is a weather condition troops have contended with frequently in American history." Soldiers from the Alaska-based 11th Airborne Division, U.S. Army put the Next Generation Squad Weapon through its paces in sub-zero temperatures.
