Just saw Devin's video, and I'm really impressed! Devin is the first AI software engineer you interact with via a chatbot. It has its own browser, code editor, and terminal. It can build software and debug on its own. And he's available for hire on the maker's website! Devin was created by Cognition Labs, a US startup that raised $21 million in a Series A round led by Founders Fund. In the past day, according to Google Trends, searches for Devin quadrupled, and justifiably so! I'll put a link to the video in the comments 👇

🚀 Excited to share insights from the 4th BEYDES #NoCodeAcademy: Best Practice Breakfast #4 🚀 Today I had the incredible opportunity to moderate a great session with the brilliant minds behind DreamyTales, Marcus Haas & Paul Anduschus. Their journey from meeting at a hackathon in Cologne to building a unique startup using NoCode and AI is nothing short of inspiring. DreamyTales taking the simple idea of creating personalized stories and turning it into physical, treasured wooden books delivered right to your doorstep. 📚✨ What sets them apart is their innovative use of smart prompts to craft individual stories and illustrations, making each book a unique treasure. 📚✨What struck me most was how Marcus, an engineer, and Paul, with a business background, leveraged NoCode and AI solutions from day one, despite having no IT background. With their sights set on €1 million in revenue by 2024, their story is not just about business growth, but about the impact and joy their personalized books bring to children and couples alike. 💼📈

Thrilled to see Butternut AI featured on On Deck’s Top Companies of 2024. When we did ODF last year, Butternut was just an idea and now we’re growing at a crazy pace. 🚀 🚀 What did I learn from ODF? • It's ok to start with a rough idea or market. It gets refined as you start building. • Community is super important! I've seen people become cofounders, find investors and discover their purpose at ODF. • OD doesn't end with the program. You make connections for life. • It's important to tell others about what you're building. OD had community pitch days that helped us refine how to talk about Butternut in public. Julian Weisser had pointed insights for every company. • Dinners are magical. OD actively split us into groups and planned dinners at the nicest places in SF. • Group tours build camaraderie. In our batch, we had an offsite as well as a yacht tour with the entire group. The programming on these tours helped everyone open up and share learnings with each other. • Software is essential for running communities. OD has an internal platform that helps you connect with alumni, ask Qs and find resources. • Also, OD made me fall in love with SF and the ecosystem. There's no place better than SF for people who are trying to build the next unicorn, and OD is at the heart of it. Kudos to Julian Weisser, Noémie Federico and OD team for building a community of world’s most ambitious builders! 👏 👏

Some of the most rewarding experiences come wrapped in nerve-wracking moments :) Yesterday we shared our progress with Cleve.ai with a room full of investors at the Tech in Asia conference. It was during the Antler Portfolio Showcase event. Seconds before, I was shaking like a leaf, my palms drenched in sweat. I was really nervous, as the day before, during dry runs, I kept forgetting my script, with stage fright hitting me hard. But there was a bright spot. The founders backstage, all fist-bumping, and giving pep talks to each other. I loved the sense of community and support. When it was my turn to pitch, despite the nerves, things turned out great. The pitch went smoothly (thankfully), and I really enjoyed the conversations that followed. Everyone really killed it and delivered their pitches super confidently 🔥 Sometimes, the moments that feel like the hardest battles lead to the best outcomes.
