📢 We need your help! We are calling on you, our brilliant RINGO community, to share your experiences of shifting power and systems change in a new survey. https://lnkd.in/eYy9QZ3q Please share your insights and knowledge to help us to build a better understanding of what change is taking place in the system and importantly, how change does (or doesn’t) happen. The findings will be presented at a learning event later in 2024 to help inform decision-makers about what they can do to facilitate a more rapid transformation of how local, national and international NGOs and funders relate, enabling multiple stakeholders to determine the actions that are needed (such as leadership support, investments or policy change) in order to ensure more enduring and lasting change by a wider group of INGOs and beyond. It will just take 5-10 minutes to add your voice! Youth-The Empowered People! As we celebrate this year's International Youth Day with the theme "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development," it's imperative that we, as youths, fully embrace the digital transformation sweeping across our world. In today's rapidly evolving landscape, aligning ourselves with technology and Artificial Intelligence isn't just an option—it's a necessity for growth and relevance. At Elela-Care Organization, we believe in the power of youth to drive innovation and sustainable development (Nothing about us, without us). To all the young people out there tirelessly working towards the Sustainable Development Goals, earning decent jobs, and contributing to national security, science, and technology; you have my utmost respect. Your dedication is shaping our future, and it's crucial that we continue this momentum. We must be intentional in our pursuit of growth, innovation, and leadership. This is our time to shift from mere survival to becoming pioneers of industrialization. We are the largest strength of our nation, and together, we can achieve remarkable things. This is not the time to give up on your dreams. It's the time to push harder, to think tech, to innovate, and to stay resilient. According to Kofi Annan "Young people should be at the forefront of global change and innovation. Empowered, they can be key agents for development and peace." #Kofi Annan’s call to action emphasizes the critical role of youth in driving progress and innovation. We are the generation that must embrace creativity, solve problems, and advocate for justice and peace. It is our energy and ideas that can transform communities and build a sustainable future. Let’s rise to the challenge, support each other, and take ownership of our role in shaping a more just, peaceful, and inclusive world. Sustainable Development Advocate| Community Development Champion | Pan-Africanist | Community Trainer and Facilitator | Youth Champion
Are we there for ourselves? For the several years I have worked both in the formal and informal sectors, there is something I have learnt; Being there for #myself. Bringing this lesson to the world of #young professionals, the big question is, before we complain that the world have not supported the youth, have we #ourselves supported each other? 💢 How much ready are we to support fellow young people to rise? 💢 How much willing are we to support ventures that are owned and led by our fellow youth? ❓ Are we really there for ourselves? Its unfortunate that most young people are jealous or envious of their fellow youths and would go a step ahead to bring them down. There is unhealthy competition left, right and center; each trying to overtake the other if not to pull them down to their level or below them. What if we all channel this energy to supporting and growing each other? What if we be there for ourselves? ❇ I guess, the power, influence and impact we would possess would be so great to change the world. ❇ Instead of holding back my leg, hold up my hand. #YouthsEngagement #YoungProfessionals #Breakingthelimits #WeMustRise Upcoming African Youth Emerging Leaders Foundation Youth Sustainable Development Network (YSDN) Youth Sustainable Development Centre Yves Delphin Gasore R Elwin MARGARET MUNGAI Betty Mutua James Chege Priscillah Nganga James Kaguyu Margaret Wanja

What comes to your mind whenever you hear about a summit? Is it big cities? Political leaders with high ranks? People of affluence and influence? This was a summit that took place at Lurambi Youth Empowerment Center, Kakamega. A summit that considered inclusivity when selecting the panelists, convened by our organization in partnership with other organizations headed by young leaders that have the people of their community at heart. Leaders that have felt the need of the community members and at no cost will they ever turn their backs on them. The youth summit with the theme: From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development will remain to be remembered. Let's take a look.

Today for the #Youths!!! Youthful and Useful Happy International youth day!!!!!!!!! As the world marks this years international youth day with the theme From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development, it is high time we embrace the digital pathways to sustainable development. It is gradually becoming almost impossible to thrive as a youth when you don’t embrace the digital shift and align yourself to the current era of technology and Artificial intelligence. We must be intentional to click the pathway to growth, innovations if we must be #youthful and #useful. To all the youth out there working hard to contribute to the #sustainable development goals, working hard to earn decent jobs to have decent living, to all the youths already working and contributing to national security, science and technology, you have my respect. We must continue to be intentional if we must take over power to ensure inclusion in governance, administration and leadership. We must shift our thoughts from survival to industrialization. We are youths!!! We are the largest strength of the nation, we can pull it out when we say we want to. In conclusion this is not the time to give up on your dreams but the time to work harder, the time to think Tech and innovations, the time to go digital, the time to remain resilient. #Iamcommitted #BuildingResilience #LeaveNoOneBehind #InternationalYouthDay2024 #youth #digitalmarketing #sustainability Tadamon - CSO Empowerment ActionAid Nigeria United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) UNICEF Nigeria Mercy Corps Save the Children International
