It ain't what you do, it's the way that you do it.... With that earworm now firmly established, let's get serious for a minute. Did you know that around 71% of employers celebrate events such as mental health awareness days, only 36% provide actual mental health support that their people rate as good or outstanding? Are these really the employers people want to work for? Potentially not, as the survey asked employees the questions and the outcome was that more than a third of employers were reported as wellbeing washing. Not putting their money where their mouth was. Not truly investing in people, just talking a good talk. The problem is, stress is real. Employees feeling undervalued is real. So the solutions and the care needs to be real too.
