🌟 What a great experience to attend TechBBQ this year! The event was a huge success, with 80% of the participants from Life Science Academy for Startups expressing they were extremely satisfied with the setup 🙌 Here are some key insights from the event: 🔑 Pitch with clarity – “Receiving honest, negative feedback is gold. It shapes your growth.”  🔑 Investor mindset – “Understanding what investors are truly looking for in startups like ours has given us a clear direction.”  🔑 Networking beyond expectations – “Meeting people from different fields for short, impactful conversations has led to potential partnerships I couldn’t have foreseen.”  🔑 Act now, adapt later – “I realized that I need to create the MVP, even if the hardware isn’t perfect. No more waiting!” Our connections with investors, collaborators, consultants, and potential employees also proved extremely fruitful. 🚀 Launching a startup feels like building your own rocket: aiming for the moon while keeping your feet on the ground. This week was packed with inspiration, connections, and exciting opportunities for our journey at DataChaperone. 💡 At the Crossroads XL I came across an actual rocket 🚀. But the real highlight was reconnecting with Carina Nieuwenweg and other fellow entrepreneurs and investors who share our vision. Moments like these spark new ideas and propel innovation forward. A funny note: the weather at the event reminded me of the startup journey: highs and lows, immediately following one-another ☀🌧🌈 ! Another key takeaway was my conversation with Eileen van Kesteren on how government organizations could be innovative - a topic that’s relevant and thought-provoking. 🌱 I also attended the Pivot Park café, a must-attend for biotech enthusiasts. Despite the traffic jam (startup life, right?). I made it just in time for Tijmen Booij, PhD's impressive presentation from Pivot Park Screening Centre. Their cutting-edge lab automation services are a true game-changer! It’s events and discussions like these that remind me why I’m passionate about what we do at DataChaperone: empowering users to move faster and achieve more.
