Cheers! 🍷 We’re doing it again, and it’s a very special event. This time, the winemaker, Erica Crawford, will be personally showcasing her wines from Loveblock in New Zealand. The California Nevada AWWA Water For People Los Angeles Committee invites to you to please join us for the 4th Annual Water For People Virtual Wine Tasting Fundraiser Wine Tasting featuring Loveblock with Erica Crawford. Why Participate? First, Water For People is one of the most effective water charities, with a firm belief in, and commitment to, transparency, efficiency, and sustainability. Water For People is dedicated to providing community based and sustainable clean water and sanitation solutions to communities in nine countries: Guatemala, Honduras, Bolivia, Peru, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and India. Second, of course, is that this event is one of the most fun ways to help fundraise! 😊 What to Expect Online Zoom event where the actual Viticulturist, Winemaker, Farmer, Innovator - Erica Crawford - guide us through the tasting process while educating us on the wines, regions, and flavor combinations. Two wines will be supplied in a kit for two or more people. Why Virtual? It’s a great way to connect without concerning yourself with drinking and driving. Another reason is Los Angeles region is so large, we can extend our reach well beyond a small region with an online event. More participation is more fundraising! The most fun way to enjoy is to host a few local friends at your house (via Uber, of course,) order several kits, and tune in for the wine education! More people means more glass raising! The last several years have included parties all around California, and the networking is a really fun part of the experience. If it’s Virtual, How do I get my Kit? 1. UPS shipped, added at time of ordering 2. Pick up locations on May 4th - Fullerton: Address location is given at the time of checkout Los Angeles: Will be provided after registering. Choose local pickup option, and I will follow up with you. https://lnkd.in/dpH-pWun Questions: Jenna Bland Jbland@ca-nv-awwa.org #WaterForPeople #CANVAWWA

Econautics believes that the most critical issues of today are all interconnected. For example, you can't achieve health equity if patients don't have access to clean air to breathe, water to drink, and healthful foods to eat. That's why we are actively seeking out and #learning from other #nonprofits in the City of Fort Worth throughout our #reorganization this year. We are #listening to established nonprofits about their challenges, successes and opportunities. We are working to create new #partnerships and to incorporate this #feedback as we design our programs. #Together, we can create #transformationalchange. This week, we want to say thank you to Taste Project Founder Jeff Williams for his time! If you haven't heard of this awesome organization, Taste Project is a nonprofit with a mission to: "feed, educate, and serve our community so they may “…taste and see the Lord is good.” Psalm 34:8. ...Our first project, a non-profit restaurant, focuses on healthy, quality meals made from fresh ingredients. Our menu has no prices. This is a give and take concept. We ask guests to do one of the following: 1) pay what you can afford, 2) pay what you would typically pay, or 3) pay what you would typically pay, plus a little extra." Learn more on their website https://lnkd.in/gX-3HWxa or check them out at: Taste Community Restaurant 1200 South Main Street Fort Worth, Texas 76104 P.S. - Do you know of an awesome local nonprofit that we should check out? E-mail us at info@econautics.org!
