✨ Thrilled to have presented my work on "Resonant Fully Dielectric Metasurfaces for Ultrafast Terahertz Pulse Generation" at the EOSAM 2024 Conference in Naples today! ✨ Metasurfaces are pushing the boundaries of how we control electromagnetic waves, opening up possibilities for advancements in areas like sensing, imaging, and communications. In our research, we focused on metasurfaces for pulsed terahertz (THz) generation, exploring a fully dielectric semiconductor design that uses morphology-mediated resonances. Our approach results in a remarkable 40x efficiency enhancement at the peak wavelength – a promising development for scalable THz emitters, with potential applications in large-area imaging, microscopy, and waveform shaping.
