🚨 News 🚨 Westward Gold Inc. provides an update on 2024 exploration activities at its flagship Toiyabe Hills consolidated land package, situated along the Cortez Trend in Lander County, #Nevada. The primary goal of the programs – designed by Westward’s technical team with a history of significant #Carlin-type #gold #discoveries to their credit – is to define new high-priority #drill #targets on the Company’s 55-square kilometer property. Ariana Resources plc (AIM:AAU) said it is targeting ‘at least’ two million ounces of gold at its Dokwe project in Zimbabwe following a review of the internal exploration data. Currently, the resource is 1.8Moz, but Ariana said the review identified ‘excellent prospects’ to boost this through drilling at the high-grade shoots and Northwest flank at Dokwe North and in open areas to the west of the Dokwe Central deposit. Kerim Sener, Ariana’s managing director, commented: “Based on our current assessments, we are targeting potential enhancement of the resource to at least 2Moz of gold. "At Dokwe North several high-grade zones are noted, which display good strike continuity through the deposit, trending northeast-southwest and plunging at a moderate angle to the southwest. We are pleased to share positive surface sampling results from the El Quillay West Prospect at our Fortuna Project in Chile. These results highlight copper mineralisation across a 1,000m by 500m trend, with a strong correlation to geophysical anomalies.   Highlights: 🔸 Rock chip assays returned up to 1.83% copper at El Quillay West. 🔸Systematic trenching is underway at El Quillay South. 🔸Preparations for drilling at the Vista Montana Prospect are progressing.   Our Managing Director, Max Tuesley commented: “These results are encouraging given they are coincident with the previously identified chargeability targets at El Quillay West and further reveal the mineralisation potential of the large land package we hold at the Fortuna Project. The Sandefjord program is focused primarily on the evaluation of #apatite (#phosphate) and #Rare #Earth #Element-bearing igneous complexes. The Hulderdalen project area forms part of a more extensive study from The Geological Survey of Norway. Great Southern Copper unearths potential new porphyry at Especularita greatscopper #LSE #GSCU. Great Southern Copper PLC (LSE:GSCU) has found indications of a new untested porphyry copper/gold system from drilling, mapping and sampling at its new Viuda prospect at Especularita in Chile. In a statement, GSC said the indications are for high-grade mineralisation associated with stockwork and vein breccia, with rock samples from artisanal workings containing up to 3.5% copper, 13.85g/t gold and 56.6g/t silver.
