International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC)’s Post

Cultivating change through collaboration! IFDC is happy to announce the Soil Values program, funded by the Netherlands Directorate-General for International Cooperation (DGIS), aiming to improve the soil fertility and productive capacity of 2 million hectares of farmland in the Sahel region for a brighter agricultural future in the Sahel region. Soil Values will operate through three strategic pathways: 1. Agro-ecological pathway: Targeting practices for smallholder farmers within landscape elements. 2. Inclusive market development pathway: Engaging the private sector to provide market incentives for soil fertility management. 3. Enabling environment pathway: Aligning public sector institutions, policies, and governance structures to stimulate sustainable soil fertility management.
