1moA key challenge i think we face as FM's is when organizations choose to virtualise the HR model and automate or digitize most of their processes not to mention delegating what used to be the HR in-person responsibility is now the FM's sole responsibilty - for example, FM's delivering bad news to an employee without HR in the room as a guide and mediator OR FM having to design and roll out a performance improvement plan to an employee and having to manage the entire process without in-person HR, where all HR does is now provide document templates and host virutal group meetings. This creates some anxiety for the FM as this isn't his / her core strength and may not always be able to suitably manage the negative emotions that result from theses circumstances.
