I’m excited to be attending the #FragileLives2024 conference at Humboldt University of Berlin. It's been an insightful event where key speakers like Christine Toetzke (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development), Deike Potzel (German Federal Foreign Office), and Tilman Brück (Humboldt University, IGZ, ISDC - International Security and Development Center) emphasized the importance of evidence-based policies and reliable data in driving effective interventions in fragile contexts. In our efforts to address fragility, conflict, and migration, the value of data-driven approaches cannot be overstated. These insights reinforce the importance of our collective work at International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and in broader global collaborations. Looking forward to further discussions and actions that will enhance resilience in the most vulnerable regions. #FragileLives2024 #FragilityAndConflict #Sudan #EvidenceBasedPolicy #DataDrivenInterventions #ResilienceBuilding
