🛫🛬📍Almaty, Kazakhstan... our final stop! CLI was grateful to be invited to the 3-day Central Asia Climate Change Conference, hosted by The Regional Environment Center of Central Asia (CAREC) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The conference featured rich expert inputs and exchanges, plus a formal meeting of the Regional Working Group with a focus on discussing the establishment of an RCCAS Secretariat. It was good to re-connect with RWG members from all countries, as well as other actors we had met through the national-level dialogues at the conference! #climateadaptation #climatechange #regionalworkinggroup #CAREC All things made possible by collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, International Climate Initiative and with local support from Shokhista Abulova!
