There are two things I never want to rely on when leading remote expeditions: HOPE, or LUCK. Just imagine: ‘With some LUCK, we will make it to the summit safely.’ ‘I HOPE we will make it back without any serious injuries.’ No. That is not the way. Luck and hope, while useful motivators sometimes, are not going to cut it when we are striving towards our boldest goals. To succeed, we need a plan. The unseen side of my 64-day Death Valley to Denali expedition were the months of painstaking planning which went into considering every minute detail of the journey. Without a plan, our dreams will remain just that. Commit. Make a plan. Make it happen. #planning #goals #luck #hope

In my (biased) opinion, this is the coolest thing going on in Utah. Advanced Air Mobility is going to greatly increase connectivity across the state, reduce carbon emissions, and increase quality of life! I’m so excited to be able to watch this initiative unfold firsthand.

This Train Is the Highest Railway in Northern Europe

Travelling to Glasgow: ❌ Can’t get the Furness line train following the derailment. ❌ Can’t drive to Oxenholme and get the train as the west coast main line is closed. ❌ Can’t drive as the M6 is closed. ❌ Can’t drive through the lakes as the road is blocked. How can Furness grow economically and flourish as a great place to live with such poor infrastructure & connectivity?
