This year marked our Impossible Pride Employee Resource Group’s Second Annual Plant Your Flag Campaign! 🏳️🌈 Throughout the month, Impossible employees and restaurant partners had the option to plant an Impossible Pride toothpick flag in an Impossible dish — celebrating diversity, inclusion and showing support for the LGBTQIA+ community. At Impossible, we stand by the right of every individual to be themselves and are thankful for our partners like The Ruby Fruit and Hi Tops who are committed to doing the same. Thank you to our Pride ERG co-chairs, Emmet Hunker and Taylor Schriver for bringing this wonderful campaign to life. Happy Pride! 🫶

Equity and inclusion is always front of my mind in my daily life, no more so than during Pride month. But what can you do when Pride Month is over? Turns out, there is a lot and you don't have to wait another 11 months to focus on #Pride and #Inclusion ☺️ As an ally, I've looked at how all of us can take meaningful actions to create an inclusive environment (anywhere, not just the workplace): 📖 Educate yourself on LGBTQI+ issues. 🗣️ Speak up against discrimination. ♥️ Use inclusive language. 🏳️🌈 Support LGBTQI+ initiatives. 📣 Be visible and vocal in your support. 👂 Listen and offer support. 🛡️ Promote a safe and inclusive workplace At Dimply, we recently reflected on our internal policies and introduced enhanced Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy, Social Value Policy, and "The One Dimply Way." “Brands should create LGBTQIA+ campaigns not only during Pride Month but year-round. And they need to back those campaigns up with action: offering education to employees, providing financial support for queer-led ERGs, doubling down with public and internal support in the face of opposition, ensuring their internal policies are fully inclusive and speaking out against anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation.” - Jamie Henkel (she/her), Vice President, Learning & Inclusion at PFLAG What Pride marketing campaigns are making a real impact in 2024? 🌈 #PrideMonth is about more than just flying the rainbow flag in June. It’s about uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community and amplifying voices within the community—through partnerships, financial support, or both—all year long. We break down how NIVEA, Abercrombie & Fitch Co., Walmart, Calvin Klein are making waves through their Pride campaigns and year-long partnerships with nonprofits like PFLAG National, The Trevor Project and more. Use these examples from this year to guide how you celebrate and approach Pride next year.

Celebrating Pride Month with Commitment to Allyship. At VELUX we believe in fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can be their authentic selves. In celebration of Pride Month, we hosted a global event on June 17th titled "Learning how to be an inclusive colleague: LGBTQIA+ edition" where we discussed how to "break the cycle of silence" and promote open dialogue and understanding about the LGBTQIA+ community. The event, attended by about 140 colleagues from many different countries, featured an inspiring opening speech by our EVP for People & Organisation, Iben Schmidt Helbirk and speeches by DEI experts, Ashley Williams from Pearn Kandola LLP; and Louise Marie Genefke and Nikoline Nybo from Inclusify. Participants left with a deeper appreciation for diversity, stronger interpersonal connections, and practical strategies for being inclusive colleagues. Here are some of the takeaways from the event: Avoiding open dialogue about the LGBTQIA+ community perpetuates biases and limits understanding. Meaningful conversations are crucial in normalising diverse ways of living and being a family. Also, there are various roles you can take to be a good ally, including: ◾ Understanding the lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals ◾ Challenging assumptions ◾ Practicing introspection ◾ Educating oneself and others ◾ Taking action against inappropriate behaviors We are committed to breaking the silence, educating ourselves, and supporting one another. Together, we can create a more inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, develop, and perform at their best. Let's continue to champion allyship and celebrate diversity every day! #PrideMonth #Allyship #Inclusion #Diversity #BrighterFuture

Embrace Your Journey with Pride (yeah you!) Each of us has a unique journey, filled with challenges, triumphs, and moments of self-discovery. Whether you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally, this month is about celebrating those journeys and standing proud of who we are. Why should EVERYONE be proud of their journey? #Authenticity: Living authentically is a powerful act. It takes courage to embrace who you are, despite societal pressures or expectations. #Resilience: Our journeys often involve overcoming obstacles. Each challenge faced and surmounted is a testament to our strength and resilience. #Growth: Every experience contributes to our personal growth. By reflecting on our journeys, we can see how far we’ve come and appreciate the lessons learned. #Community: Pride Month is a reminder of the supportive and diverse communities we are part of. Celebrating together strengthens our bonds and fosters a sense of belonging. As we celebrate Pride Month, let’s honor the courage of those who have paved the way for equality and continue to fight for inclusivity. Let’s also take a moment to reflect on our own journeys and be proud of the paths we’ve walked. Remember, being proud of your journey isn’t just for June—it’s a lifelong celebration. #Inclusion #BeYourself #CelebratePride #JourneyWithPride

Pride doesn’t end in June for us. We are a proudly 100% LGBTQIA+ owned company, with both NGLCC and LAGLCC certifications. Every wrap of every project we produce, we include what we call our “Sustainability, Diversity and Inclusion (SDI) Report” which highlights key metrics around cast and crew diversity, #doubletheline positions, and sustainability/diversion outcomes. We do this to not only hold ourselves accountable to the pledges we’ve made, but also to provide valuable information to our partners and clients that help us affirm our successes and make clear areas in which we can improve in the future

As we’re coming to the end of this Pride Month, I wanted share some thoughts. Above all I’m here to learn how I can best support my LGBTIQ+ colleagues. 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈 And this was a key focus of our recent leadership panel discussion on allyship. During this session, we discussed topics including the needs of colleagues in different regions, the importance of psychological safety, and how to drive tangible action on LGBTIQ+ inclusion. One action we’ve taken recently is reaffirming our commitment to the LGBTIQ+ Standards of Conduct for Business by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). In line with this commitment, it’s my goal to ensure that the voices of LGBTIQ+ colleagues are heard, that their needs are addressed, and that everyone can be their authentic selves. Not just in Pride Month, but all year round. I want to be a CEO of a company where everybody feels they can be themselves. Where you can be ‘you’, and where we are united for progress — creating a safe space for all, celebrating diversity, and staying curious about each other’s experiences. That’s how we show Pride at dsm-firmenich! #webringprogresstolife #pride #beyou #allyship
