What an inspirational evening yesterday at the AI+MUNICH Pitch Night, organized by AI+MUNICH, a joint initiative by Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship gGmbH, TUM Venture Labs, and MUNICH INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM. It has been fantastic to see so many ideas from Munich startups how to make #AI beneficial for human mankind. The challenges with AI remain. For example, how to make AI applications legally secure, how to eliminate wrong information (#hallucinations) and how to enable digital amateurs to use AI without any AI expertise. At Smart Agent we are working on these challenges and it was very productive to exchange ideas and insights with other startups who face the same challenges. It seems a promising way to eliminate wrong information through hybrid models. We are excited to see the next-gen AI applications soon. CuspAI, an artificial intelligence (AI) startup based in Cambridge, UK, has raised $30 million in seed money to transform the way materials are created for a more #sustainable future. Hoxton Ventures led the investment round, while a group of well-known investors, including Basis Set Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and LocalGlobe, also participated. CuspAI's cutting-edge platform simplifies the material design process by utilizing the capabilities of deep learning, generative AI, and molecular modeling.
