#Asturias your new destination! 🏖 The increase in November was 38.1% over last year and overall it is already +32.5% above the year 2022 as a whole. Asturias is opening up to the world and hopefully more tourists will be encouraged to visit our natural paradise. Turkish Airlines and KM Malta Airlines have signed a code-sharing agreement to operate joint flights, effective as of June 15 2024. The codeshare agreement will provide passengers of both flag carrier airlines more flexible travel options on direct flights between Istanbul and Malta. Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi stated: "We are pleased that the codeshare agreement with KM Malta Airlines will re-foster cooperation between the two countries and provide seamless journeys for passengers flying from Malta and Türkiye. Not only does this partnership enable Maltese travelers to benefit from the wide network of Turkish Airlines on a global scale, but also promotes more visitors from Malta to visit our unique country, Türkiye. Likewise, Malta, the fascinating island nation of the Mediterranean, will attract more visitors. Irish low-cost airline Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline will dramatically expand its operations in Israel starting at the end of October and will operate direct flights to 16 new destinations.The cities to which Ryanair will fly from Ben Gurion Airport include Bologna, Rome, Naples, Turin, Venice, Memmingen (Germany), Baden-Baden, Brussels, Krakow, Poznan, Warsaw, Marseille, Vienna, Sofia, Vilnius and Thessaloniki..... Bratislava Airport has had another successful year, which confirms the interest of Slovaks in air travel or holidays. In 2023, the Bratislava Airport handled a total of 1.8 million passengers on departures and arrivals. The passenger renewal rate reached 79% compared to the pre-pandemic year 2019. This is a 29 % increase compared to 2022. "First of all, thank you to everyone who has used flights from Bratislava Airport. The airport has undergone several significant innovations this year, which I believe have contributed to better choice and comfort when travelling. In addition to the launch of online parking booking, the addition of airport services, we have brought destinations such as Athens, Podgorica and Kaunas, Lithuania. The launch of regular charter flights on the Airbus A350-900 long-haul aircraft was also a historic moment, opening the door to other intercontinental destinations. I firmly believe that we will continue in the set direction also thanks to joint teamwork," said the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of M. R. Štefánik Airport, Ing.
