Not very smart at all in my opinion. It's almost like we haven't tried any other source of power since the '90s..... My hydroelectric turbine never needs to be maintained and can run on the same closed loop 2 gallons of water. And weighs about 300,000 times less then the ones we've been using to generate hydroelectric power for over 100 years. Y'all are just perpetuating solar as a renewable energy source clincher. It sucks. But what do I know I'm just a freaking genius

Good news, but putting all our eggs in one basket is completely wrong. Instead, we should invest on all #renewableenergy simultaneously for a better future.

The criteria for whether we are winning the climate change emergency is not how fast we build sustainable energy sources but how fast we halt building new hydrocarbon sources AND how fast we shut down and decommission coal oil and gas energy sources. And that includes not just electricity generation but ALL uses of hydrocarbon energy sources. This is an extremely important matter.

Air travel is highly polluting though it is not directly visible. Can we reduce travel needs with better communications? Similar thing with road travel? Why wait for COVID to force us?

Way to get investment for large solor plants with panels mounted on elevated poles in agricultural lands along with farming. 1MW in 1 hectare agricultural lands.

Unfortunately the 'other' technologies are also growing. Wind, geothermal and nuclear won't be the only technologies in that group.
